Did anyone happen to notice that directly across from the counter in the video is a large refrigerated unit which would have a compressor which goes on incrementally. Given that it's a narrow store, it's likely the floor joists run across the room which would mean that there could be an ever so slight vibration at the end of the joists. If unsupported in the middle, that simple vibration at the end could be multiplied at the center of the span which would be in the area of the counter. As an architect, we have to think about these types of things all the time. It's extremely possible that when the compressor in the refrigerator goes on that it creates an undetectable vibration which is enough to cause a low-friction object (like glass) to move of a flat surface (which nothing really is), or to cause something which is in one position to settle in a different position. The fact that anyone would jump to ghosts is so bizarre.
As an architect, that could make you an excellent candidate for a skeptical? Investigator. I'm a true believer. Long time. I thought the first clip of the jar appeared exactly as you described, haveing that spin and movement of something vibrating to the edge by some type of equipment. The second was harder to explain. Oregon City is very haunted though.
@@LoriCurl I would say it mainly comes from experience. I have seem many examples of refrigerator compressions causing sympathetic vibrations. My own cabin upstate is an example. At me desk which is 20 feet from the frig I can feel a very slight vibration when the compressor is on but if I step on foot away is disappears. It's entire about the frequency, the structure, and the distances. But just like a bridge with people walking, the action from that motion can effect things a long way away like the end of a whip.
My former boss who worked with me at a convenience store showed me surveillance footage of a coffee pot doing the same thing at our store. It was sitting right in the middle of the counter and then started wiggling around and moving. Then it tipped over and fell off onto the floor. I grilled him all night about whether or not he faked it and he was adamant that he did not. He was a pretty trustworthy guy so I tended to believe him. I still have his phone number. Maybe I'll call him and see if he still has the video. I've never been a big believer in ghosts, and have never had an experience, but watching that video definitely made me question things more.
My number 1 goal post life is to be a ghost, a ghost that messes with people non stop. I'm in no rush to get there but still looking forward to it none the less.
You guys should get the guys from either Ghost Adventures or The Tennessee Wraith Chasers to come out and check it out, these guys have all the equipment to do a good job!
We could build "large stones that are part of prehistoric structures"? How interesting! Oh, wait. No. You're just trying to sound smarter than you really are.
I'd like to see the raw unedited video, this report is zooming in on the objects and the pens in the cup moving have two different shots. So they moved twice? Or more, perhaps? So, I would like to see the unedited video. But it is very interesting.
Robbie R. Esq. Do you mean the unedited news pre production footing ? Because like she said it can't be edited by the dispensary it's against state law.
like I said a little earthquake, we had an earthquake a few years ago one was a small and things still moved in the house then we had a big one and things still moved . Also a draft, I personally believe in ghost but not this one I do not thing this was a ghost
@@nadiacusan7854 Funny. Nothing was ever mentioned about an Earthquake. And I'm sure the guy running the shop would've mentioned it. Besides, this wasn't the only occurrence. So, you're going to tell me that every single instance that someone experienced was an Earthquake?? Also, if it were an Earthquake, it wouldn't be only one item moving. There would be several moving. Clearly, that's not the case in the video.
Or.....perhaps the refrigerator shelf that the tip jar is sitting on was not perfectly level and when fridge cycled, the vibration caused the jar to slide off due to the top surface not being 100% level.
Why on earth would someone who returned after death waste their time moving things, I mean they can answer the biggest questions but instead they move things. it's utter nonsense.
Me too. Various places Ive lived. Curtains thrown, perfume bottles and books knocked over right in front of me, and knitting needles rattled in a can just two feet from where I was sitting. That last one happened in a house in NE Portland Oregon in 2014. My brother had the ghost tie a string to his bedroom doorknob and hook it to a nail in the wall. Same house.
that was interesting also you guys are so lucky yu can have cannabis stores here in Australia its illegal to have cannabis its a fine or jail sentence were so backward here sometimes
Something tried tormenting me back in Oregon City really early in the morning outside my bedroom. That city is definitely paranormal active, I experienced it firsthand. What was moving that jar was likely a demon manifesting himself in there to cause panic & mischief, worry not, God also watches over that city. Some people call Los Angeles the city of angels but I think Oregon City is actually more paranormal than that place.
Even ghosts want the sauce . I just got a zip of the Driver earlier from this location and just happened to see this on my feed Not shocked . I'm from the midwest originally I've gotten to know this town and it's definitely got some etheric energy Likely a vortex or laylines related happening imo but what do I know I'm baked❤
earthquake possible, a some earthquake made things move, there is always an explanation, could be also a draft in the potshop, it would have to be bigger then this to be a ghost
To me it looks like the editor at the station just goofed up with their B roll footage on this story. If you were to swap the clips, it would fix it. Look at the timestamps, the clips are months apart. The scissor clip is from June and the story is on an incident from August. The clip at the 1:28 would have matched the narration talking about the moving pens at :48, and the scissor clip would have been better suited for B roll at the end.
They're video captures from two different times. Look at the contents in the cup in both instances. They're not the same. In the second instance (where the scissors aren't there) you can see what appears to be a red pen or marker of some kind, along with another item that wasn't seen in the first video with the scissors.
That was a funny comment. But that newscaster did the same thing that most journalists do when they have to comment on something they completely do not understand. Funny but disappointing commentary.
The best answer of what is causing all the "shadows, cold spots, or moving of objects you can read it in the Word of God as it says in (Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.) Most people worldwide say that they believe in God, so you believe in God well then certainly you will believe of what says in the Word of God. All honor and glory are for God amen, amen.
I think its like Rosewell ufo, where a complett infrastucure build on the myth, andd a whole town can live from out it. How to attract people to the middle of the nowhere? Thats why every town in th US have their own monster...so riddiculus...the cannabis shop made a good marketing...you need to make paranormal stuffs on your chanelll couse its attracts people...Oregon pot shop...of course if im going to Oregon i will remember there is haunted weed shop...
If I had a business especially a weed shop, I would create this hoax to get more attention. That would be so easy to create. Just use fishing line. Otherwise it could be a number of natural explanations including vibrations under the counters.
All you do is put the item on a table or counter that is even the slightest bit unlevel, put some water on the table, sit an item down and it will move by itself.Maybe that's the case here.It can be explained.Just saying.
