Very good and precise information. But it seems you have mentioned very little responsibilities. How much it matched?. Was your designation and NOC code same?. What was your CRS score?
Hi Alex- Glad to know u liked the video. Actually, you should include 3-6 bullet points to describe your duties. Ideal case would be to have minimum 5. I included just 3 points in this letter because i had multiple roles and my employer approved only for these duties which matched my NOC. Our CRS score was 467.
I was super confused as my reference letter had just six duties and the agency people asked to have min 12 duties . I was searching for this from morning n glad that I found this on your channel. Thanks a ton.
@@humpty02dumpty Just a small clarification, I have more than 6 years of past work experience , then am I good to show only the past experience as proof and do not show the current working experience ?
Hey.. thank you providing detailed information on this topic.. really helpful ! Also I have a question related to the sample letter, you worked on post ‘Software Engineering Analyst’, which is similar to mine. Can you please let me know the NOC code that you used. I am really confused among 2283, 2171 and 2173 ☹️
I have claimed for 3+ years work experience in which i worked as trainee engineer for 8 months, assistant electrical engineer for 18 months and electrical engineer for 14 months ...i have 2 options. Option 1 - get letter from office saying i worked for 3 years as electrical engineer and attach last 6 months pay slips( and not attach offer letter saying trainee engineer or promotion letters ). Option 2 - get experience letter mentioning all 3 positions and attach offer letters and promotion letters . Which option is better ?
Thanks a lot, so helpful, so in addition to this letter, should we attach some documents related to this ? For instance, insurance letter or career's contract?
Thanks for this informative video . Could you please clear one doubt for me - Does the manager/supervisor from previous employer need to send us an email or should sign on a A4 paper with all the required details in CIC format ? And the affidavit should be self attested and notarised ? Please help out.
Hello Shraddha- Glad to hear the video was helpful to u. Ideally, the manager should send an email from his/ her email ID. That is the proof that the person from the organization has provided the Employment Reference letter to u. Affidavit should be notarized/ stamp paper based. Best way is to send the solid documents so that u don't get questions from IRCC on your application.
@@humpty02dumpty Thanks for your response . So I need to get the signature on printed paper from the manager as the first step and could you shed some light on notarizing ? I should take the signed letter to a lawyer or how exactly does it work ? I am a bit confused If I need to do a self declaration or what?
Hey, Thank you the video is very Informative I had a query that if I get the reference letter from Employer do I need to submit Salary slips, Bank Statement or ITR?
We need two references letters? One from the previous letter and one for the current? And what's the ideal time to reach out to the current employer for the same?
When taking letter from supervisor through mail along with affidavit do we need to submit the mail response from employer that why they are not providing. I mean the first option you listed
Hi. I will complete my 3 years of work experience in coming june. Q3: Is reference letter sufficient for my old job or need to submit other related documents aswel? If yes, which all documents? Thanks in advance :)
Hello mam.. Like ur videos ❤️ very informative.. I want to know that:- - Can i show my 2013 to 2016 work experience (NOC code 0) for express entry or PNP profile coz from 2016 to till date I'm in govt. job and in govt. job my NOC code lies in level C..so i want to show my 2013-2016 (3+ years) of experience for my EE/PNP profile..and is there any problem if I'll not show my after 2016 job experience..pls suggest in detail it helps me alot🙏🙏
Hi Vikas- thanks for your lovely words 😊🙏🏼 Yes, u can show the experience of 3 years only as that matches your Noc. Even my husband did the same. He had 6 years of experience but showed the letter only for 3 years because u get points for 3 years only even if u have more years of experience in EE.
@@humpty02dumpty thnx for reply.. is Canadian immigration is ok with it if i don't show my 4 years (2016-2020) of experience..koi gap in 4 yrs ka koi problem or it's ok with that 2013-2016 experience only
Hi...Thank you for this incredible information❤️......i have a question...can I get more than one reference letter through the single firm from teamLead, Manager, HR n colleagues?
Thanks for sharing valuable information madam. I have one doubt regarding employer reference letter. In this case I have worked with three different employers so do i need to get employer reference letter from three of them or current employer reference letter enough? Please clarify mt doubt madama
Hi Mahesh - In your Express Entry profile, you get points maximum for 3 years of experience. So, to show 3 years u will have to pick the employer accordingly to get the ref letter. There is no rule that the Ref letter has to be only from 1 employer.
I submitted reference letter from my dependent wife.. however i notice a little mistake on the start date of her letter. I am the principal applicant. Does the mistake matter? Knowing that she is only my dependent? In the opening sentence of the letter it is correclty stated... but in the duties and resoonsibilities section there a typo error on start date. I know should not have submitted it and just include it in personal history.. but i known this a bit late 😔
Hi Rakshita- Thank You for watching videos on our channel!😌🙏 My employer specifically asked for the reason before issuing the letter. In fact many employers will mention it while others might skip. So it should be fine.
Getting an email from one of my supervisor from an official email ID as Work ref letter would work as you mentioned if I cant get it from HR. Can you please show an example of email as a work ref letter?
Nice video. I have one query. I am planning to claim points for Employment letter along with my Canadian experience point. The sample letter you showed would it work to claim offer letter (Employment letter) points ?
Suggest: I held two designations with the same employer: 1. Analyst 2. Senior analyst but my R&R remained the same, is it ok if I mention both the destinations and their tenure then mention R&R, all in the same letter or do I need separate letters for both designations? however, as I mentioned my R&R were the same for both designations.
hello @HumptyDumpty2, my name is Patel Rahulkumar Tulsidas, and on my previous company's experience letter, my name is written as Rahulkumar Patel. Will that be troublesome while applying for the PR and Job in Canada??? Please help me with it.
Better attach name change affidavit/ document to supplement this discrepancy. If you think your company can provide u a new experience letter with correct name on it, then get that.
A reference letter is for Primary or Both applicants. In my case, my, wife is working in Admin Hostel, State Govt University and I am in Pvt service with breakups. What we have to do?
Hello thank you for the informative video. I would like to ask if I need to get Reference Letter from all my past employers even if some are not related to the NOC Code that I will be applying. But under the same industry( Hospitality). Example is worked as a Cabin Crew and Front Office Staff in home country. Both experiences add up to 8years of Hospitality industry experience. Then will be applying as a Restaurant Manager for NOC PR application. So I need to get Reference Letter for both employers right? Would really appreciate your advise. Thanks so much
Hi, I am going to Canada for studies, and I have work experience of 1.5 years in two different companies. So, should I get employment reference letter from my employer now so that when I apply PR after studying and working in Canada, it would be useful.
Hi mam i am planing to apply SINP with 8 years experience. I have 2 doubts 1.my experience are first few years executive and now manager can I select manager level NOC? 2. 3 years I worked in India, 5 years worked in Singapore and after came back to India now working last 5 months. My question is in between joining to other companies I had 10 to 15 days gaps how they will calculate my experience? Because SINP mentioned 1 year mean complete working experience. I hope you understand my question. thank you for your reply..
Hello Mam Is the employment reference letter from every organisation you work is required for PR. As I have work experience of 8+years of three different organisations Organisation
I am designer I have 11 year experience currently I am working in same company for last 6 years this is my 3d job so I can show my all jobs refference letter or I can show only my current job refference letter.
Getting signature from Register / VC is a heavy task in govt university for my wife. Perhaps, if we surely get PR, we shall take risks. Else her job will be ......!!! Please advice. Getting a reference letter from the university is an issue. Other than what we can give...
Very details information..My employer has given me reference letter with all the details u have mentioned, but has included only 2 generic responsibilities. Being in NOC code 2174 Program Analyst they match the responsibilities but are very technically defined in my letter what should I do...
What if we have experiences in many companies, like say 1 year in each company.... in tat case do we have to get the letter from every employer... what of we have a gap in our career?
Hello Alpesh- If your old firm is now following the new firm's name then in that case I think u can attach a proper/ legal document as a proof stating that the old firm is merged etc. whatever is the reason. Alternate option can be if u can ask the new firm itself to mention old firm's name in the letter (something like previously called as xx). I guess this should work.
hi , Same Reference Letter can we use with CV to find job in Canada though websites like Job Bank, If No than what I can mention in Reference Letter which i want to use with my CV to find job in Canada from India

Hello Mam, I have got my student visa and currently I am taking classes from India. I have worked here in India so I am looking to get a reference letter from my employer but the position at which I was working was not available in the NOC list. but in future if I will apply for PR do I need a letter from my Indian employer with NOC code? Or it will work without NOC. So what should I do in that case Please suggest 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hello Mam, I had a two-year bond with the company that I was working at. I quit the job after a year! Will it matter if they mention it in the reference letter?

I work in a startup company will it count as I have worked full time in that company and they are ready to provide the reference letter to me so do I need to show salary sleeps as well or just a reference letter ?
Please tel me one thing if I didn't get a reference letter from H.R and then my colleague who is a management level 1 can write a letter to me. What reason should one write of not getting a reference letter from H.R dept
Hello- You can ask the HR department to mention that they are not issuing reference letter for canada PR purposes or something on similar lines. That should be fine.
Hi, Thanks for the information shared through this video. I wanted to know, if you could share that, did you attach payslips/bank statements along with your employer reference letter during your application submission time?
Hi Nemiraj - I know it is difficult to get a response from the employer. Even I had to follow up for about 6-7 times with one of the employer. Try sending emails on alternate days, if still they don't respond then ask them to reply with the reason why they can't issue the letter. Or you can also get in touch with your manager/ colleague in that organization and he/she can help u get the response from HR.
HumptyDumpty2 - you have undoubtedly stated the obvious, and I also understand that it is different in case to case basis, so nothing much which you could do here! Thanks for your reply!
Hi, I had a doubt. If we have experience with multiple companies, do we have to produce reference letter for all companies? Also, if we are still working in a company and we could not ask them for reference letter, what can we do for it.
Hello Mam, By looking at your reference letter I see that I also worked for the same company as you were. I too got the similar reference letter from my previous company but the salary was not mentioned in my reference letter as well. Will that be a problem? However, I am attaching all my company letters such as offer letter, hike letters, relieving letter, payslips and form 16 docs to support my salary proof. Will that be okay? Pls suggest!
Gvg Prasad yes u need to submit the experience letter along with the other documents once u receive the ITA. It is one of the very important documents.
