I always love in a house where there is a cabinet in the kitchen only with cute little jars of spices all lined up with DIY labels!!! I also love when people paint their walls or front doors, make their own tiles or wallpaper, hang plants from the ceiling, and more!! Can't wait for this adventure Ava!!!!

I think this house is amazing I am also not that tipe of "girly girl" so maybe for the kitchen since in my opinion I don't like a lot of white in the whole house so maybe the wall can be like a green- tan peach color. and put lots of plants and spices all over the kitchen to make it look super cool

This screamed to me 13:09 that you must do something with the celling!!! Something that gives you ☁️ *big relaxation visual* Rather it be a crystallized finished paint that sparkles when the light hits it or, have the celling actually look like water or use a photo you took! Or simply make the celling an accent color different from the walls.

I feel like the green door would look awesome! Or like a lavender purple color maybe 🤔 I definitely think you should have a sunroof!! This house seems so perfect for you ! I love it ! I would bring the wall up higher so you cant see the street sign, that way if anyone makes a video and doesn't realize they didn't block it out there nothing to worry about. Also in that empty space maybe a hammock somehow.

The shower part had me dying 😂 and I love the idea of a green door because it makes a statement and if you are gonna do the stone I think the door would go amazing with it. I also think the kitchen is too girly, when I buy a house I was alway in love with a stone countertop and deep color kitchen cabinets like forest green or deep blue. You have very amazing style and I can’t wait to see your house finished and in its glory. 😊

What if in the Primary Suite, the book shelf thing above the open door way, you put plants that hang down and trail along the open area, making a luxurious green entry way with a fresh natural vibe?? I know you'll need a ladder to water them but... maybe get fake plants or a mix of both?

good idea! I can barely keep plants alive and dont want to make the airbnb guests water anything so Im trying to figure out how to have natural plants in the house with low maintenance! I would LOVE a giant tree inside but idk how thats gonna work 😂

Like every space in this house has SO MUCH POTENTIAl, the possibilities are literally endless… and about the back yard space, It would be really cool if Hanaleh (idk how its properly spelled) had his own little crib like a cool dog den with his toys and balls and stuff maybe, theres a lot of inspo on Pinterest… just an idea though. Ok when we started the tour I was surprised with the house you chose because it didn’t feel like you ( not that I know you but like I’ve been watching the channel since I was like 9 and im 17 now) and then hearing all of your ideas and the renovations im so excited because I think it’s going to turn out amazing and just become such a beautiful and inviting place for you. Eva! Gorgeous home, congratulations!! My husband and I almost went with ficus because they’re great for privacy, but they are poisonous to dogs (we have two). Check out a few dog safe privacy plants so you don’t have to worry about any pup problems ❤❤❤ Can’t wait to see the transformation.

you can put colorful flowering bougainvillea trees in the backyard... and I LOVE the blue door idea you had but the green would look so good. and i feel like a hottub would be so fun, especially because it can get chilly at night and maybe you could kinda get it built in on the empty corner, but if not those hammock swings are so cute and I think it would be perfect in that corner! cant wait to follow along and see what you do.

Idea for the awkward open-shelf kind of situation above the bathroom walkway In the master bedroom: you could put a bunch of different plants and/or just overgrown vines flowing down from the open-shelf concept. So when you look up you see a bunch of greenery and vines flowing down into a green jungly walk way kind of vibe, instead of removing it. I hope you can kind of imagine what I’m saying! Xoxo

Congrats on the Palm Springs house! I am with you on changing the backsplash. The hardware, worktops and colour of the kitchen can be replaced with something cooler and more midcentury..but as you said it's not that bad as it is. The turf outside would drive me nuts, I would install pavers instead, add some desert plants and lot of shade with pergola

this house has so much potential! i love thé idea of a green door, but i think replacing all the doors would be a great idea! obviously not all green doors, but imagine beautiful glass double doors or a door a rich wood. i think it would make all the difference. i think embracing the 90’s quirks of the house would look amazing if done right! frames house is gonna look so good!

For one of the long side spaces of the back yard you could add a gazebo/shade element with a table and a grill for outdoor dining! Or an outdoor bar area could be sick!
