I remember seeing this in Bayville, NY when IMAC was there and I had met Mr. Emshwiller!

I remember seeing this many years ago. The artist thought using a computer to create art would help speed up the process. He found out it didn't work out that way.

It's a case of the technical restrictions inspiring someone. There wasn't a lot you could do easily with the processing power and algorithms available so he made the most of what he'd got.
