Just a note, on bing, if you have it on you can’t view 3d models on sketch-up because of the extension/package it requires. To fix it you need to type the url in a certain way into the always allowed box. Edit: I no longer use edge, and instead run Opera GX, as I don’t like Microsoft’s greedy practices.
@@FriskGamer1no not really. Android is the world’s most popular mobile OS and is made by a literal ad company. Microsoft isn’t an ad company but probably does a lot of telemetry as well, and Windows is even more popular
Microsoft Edge has two privacy and security features, which is "Tracking Prevention" and "Enhance security on the web" You forgot to mention Tracking Prevention in edge which can also have levels of tracking prevention which includes basic, balanced, strict. Those two are different things but it does let you enhance both security and privacy.

Oh don't worry, Google already wants to make it standard-practice for them to track and log every single web PAGE you go to. It's those pesky privacy-advocates who think Google shouldn't be able to know every page you visit (especially on, um, "sensitive" sites 😒).
This is analogous to sexual abstinence. You can't get a virus if you haven't entered the site. Are there any security options analogous to prophylactic security. I'm going to a site that might be a haven to viruses, but the allure of the penetration is worth the risk, like say a site with good pirated content?
You can opt out of sending you usage data to Google. If you untick the box your usage data does not get sent to Google. People think what's the point of opting out of sending data to Google as though it get sent to and then used by Google, then moan when finding out that it gets used by Google, when opting out of it would have meant that your usage data could not possibly have been used by Google. If everybody around the world decided to opt out of sending usage data by unticking the box, Google. would never have had no usage data from anybody to use.
if chrome didnt completely block "suspicious" downloads making it impossible for me to download things I know are 100% safe, they I would enable this kind of stuff.
@@TheSultan1470 I've had it block unity packages, legitimate programs from legitimate websites, vst plugins, old games, all of which I know are safe either through my own checks and/or through automated checks. My antivirus never detects anything wrong (unless it's an actual virus) but chrome likes to mark a lot of things as suspicious and just completely makes it impossible to download unless I go into the settings and change shit to make it not work.

But what does Google deem to be dangerous??? Because I’m weary of Tech companies who like to determine what political views and opinions you should have access to.
