These products are marketed terribly--I think it's an extension of pseudo-scientific Japanese marketing. Dumbing things down for the ignorant masses. First of all, let me explain the theory of these machines. Natural spring water: how is it made? Well... Rain=distillation. This purifies water. Although, in nature, it's bound to get quite dirty again. It falls and fills rivers, streams, etc. It runs across rock and sand and picks up minerals. Now that it is mineral water rather than distilled water, it can now conduct electricity. As the water runs it picks up electrical energy. So, a complete home system would include: Distiller/RO system (rain) Remineralizing filter (running across rocks) Water ionizer (introducing electricity) Supposedly, water molecules form certain patterns around minerals according to the charge. These are not stagnant "clusters" but are rather cluster-like formations that are in constant motion. Supposedly, if the minerals contain electrical charge, this clustering pattern becomes tighter-knigt or "smaller". Supposedly, this allows the water to be more hydrating as these tighter-knit cluster patterns allow water to penetrate organ tissues much easier. Supposedly, you won't piss it all out as much. These machines are designed to be used in conjunction with other water purifying technologies and they do, in fact, replicate a natural process that produces qualities similar to spring water. The scientific evidence gets sparse from here on out, but there is a legitimate basis for these machines. The acid/alkaline thing is just dumbed down nonsense. Yes, you want water to be alkaline. But not any sort of alkaline! You want MINERALS! Not baking soda and water. I don't know why they market this as alkaline water it's so stupid.
I really enjoyed drinking kangen water but the only problem I need to continue spent money every 3 months to replace the filter when the machine says its time to change the filter I appreciate the way you explain everything make it easier for people to understand

This is TRUE, I work in the hospital and I used the acid water for my rash in my arms that did not go away, and I spent so much money for creams. When I got my machine and used the acid water, OMG, my rashes in my antecubital healed after two days of spraying. Kangen water is amazing water. The micro-clustering property is true of the Kangen water as is the ability to change the pH. Another benefit is the ability of the machine to produce water with a lower ORP (oxidation reduction potential value; more negative is better). Most drinks oxidate the body which is bad, but the with highly negative ORP water that the Enagic machine produces this helps the body stay younger. There are meters that can test pH and also ORP values so the results of the water coming out of the Enagic water machine are numerically verifiable.

Shhhh... don't even mention that... I tried to get an answer about that from our local water department. They did not even know (or pretended not to) what I was talking about. Indeed, hundreds of millions of people take hundred millions of medications every day. Many or even most of them are not absorbed completely by the body. Most of those substances are excreted again by the body, and they end up accumulating in the drinking water. Nobody has the technology to test for and extract these residues. And we all ingurgitate that pharmaceutical cocktail every day. I only drink genuine spring water, that was simply filtered from particles and otherwise left 100% as it comes out the mountain source. Kangen water is good at the Hydrogen contain and antioxidant, but about alkaline, our body is 7.2, no matter what alkaline level you drink, your body still balance it back to 7.2
Apache Sakai You re right sir. But if your body is constantly working to get your ph back to 7.2, feeding it acidic foods and drinks is going to make it work harder to keep it there. If you do some more research you ll also see that your blood can actually go below 7.2 and if it does, thats when acidosis, disease, etc. starts to occur.

With respect to the 2.5 pH water, it is critical that you differentiate it from other more common household cleaners. You said it kills 99% of the bacteria it is introduced to within 30 seconds, yet even Lysol does that. What I think people need to understand is that as most of our household cleaners and disinfectants, hand sanitizers and such kill 99.9% of germs. Kangen 2.5 pH water kills 99.999% 100X more than the leading chemical sprays. That's a huge difference we must clarify.

A side effect is the fact that you lose the ability to hold your urine. So it is good only to use on the out side of your body. The titanium plates that is used to clean the water is not good for the inside of your body. It is also good to make your own bleach.
I have the Leveluk K8 and decided to test the water quality and bought a TDS Meter. My tap water is reading 810 Ppm and my Kangen water is reading 747 normal drinkable water should be 0-100 ppm and tap water should be 200-400. Do you know if this is normal? hello fenderstrtguy. It is a good idea to be put in kangen water into a bottle. The problem is the benefit of kangen water inside the bottel with tight cap would be diminished within around 2-3 day. That is why we need the machine to convert the regular water to kangen water and drink it directly.
