"Baby don´t comb your hair on the bed because travelers will going to be late" is referring to an ancient superstition that says that if a woman combs her hair in bed, it brings bad luck, especially for sailors and predicts a violent tide and possible shipwrecks. In the context of the song seems to mean that she is not caring for her behavior and the consequences in their relationship.

There is a really old saying in latin america thats says that women shouldn't brush her hair while on bed because sailors would lost in the sea and be late to home. Hence that weird line "baby don't brush your hair in bed cause travelers will be late"
