I had to stop the video after you closed the circle to tell you that I just love how you are teaching us beginners. The fact that you are not only showing the stitches BUT showing us the pattern is brilliant, never have I seen anyone teach us that. I need to learn to read the pattern too!!! The yarn is gorgeous snd the pattern is too. For a couple of weeks now I’ve been wanting to make a rectangular shawl but have not found one video that l liked so much. I will look at all your videos, I hope to learn a lot from you.

This is such an amazing shawl. Your instructions are so easy to follow for a somewhat beginner in this craft. I have a question, can I make all the squares until row 5 and then join them later? Kind Regards Pearl
The stitches used in the half motif are the same as the full motif. With the instructions given in the video you should be able to achieve success when making the half motif. Let me know if you have any questions. :-)
@@MarlyBird so do I turn when I reach half way? I’ve never made half motifs before. Maybe I’ll find another place that teaches that and apply it to this pattern. Might be my solution.
Hi. Are you sure you used the Red Heart Unforgettable yarn in the color Woodland? Because this yarn doesn’t have the same color gradients as the shawl you’ve posted. Otherwise very detailed instructions and a very beautiful pattern. 👍🏼
The yarn naturally shifts as you work around the project. The long color changes of the yarn allow for some good lengths of one color before the shift.
