Enclosure Focus: Black Box Cages & Shelves (special appearance by TC) 

Great video. I love seeing how you build up the complexity of your enclosures for your snakes and all the really cool things you can do with household items. I will definitely be checking out black box for the future.

I think it’s amazing what TC does. With every other retic I’ve worked with if they’re poking at the glass or acting like they want to come out, the last thing I’d do is just put my hand near them. But because of his training, he knows there’s no food around!

Some brillliant ideas for shelving for snakes and so wish we were not so limited here for things. Been brainstorming myself for things for my snakes lately but those shelves l would attempt to make myself. Thanks for some great ideas Lori.

Really nice enclosures! I think I would like these as much as I like Focus Cubed enclosures, and that's saying a lot. I love the idea of getting shelves to put into some of my Showcase enclosures, so if standalone shelves are something they will be regularly offering, I will definitely get some. I'd also love to get a couple of the Zen Habitat shelves/hides for the enclosures I am heating with deep heat projectors, as DHP + slate is an ideal combination. I have been using some of the exact same shelves from Amazon as you are, and they've been fine, but the basking shelves and the slate-topped hides are even better.
