I still quote this all the time. My daughter told me she was tired. My wife grinned because she knew it was coming. “Ok sweetheart go have a nap…THEN FIRE ZE MISSILES!!” She was sooooo confused until I showed her this. Now she does the same trick to her cousin.

It's been nearly 20 years and I still remember us watching this on repeat in school, and quotes from this have crept into everyday life. I still say, with the accent, "Okay, so" and "Fire ze missiles!" and "But I am le tired", also just "Well, fuck that." and of course, "'bout that time eh, chaps? ... Right-o.". I've just accepted that these phrases are here to stay with me forever. [Before anyone else feels the need to reply with "it's only been 19 years!!!!!1!!!1!", I mistyped. Genuinely meant "nearly" not "over" and didn't notice what I'd typed. I've edited my comment, happy? 🤣]

So much of this has permanently embedded in my natural lexicon, it's almost weird to hear where it all came from after so many years. Hhhokay, I am le tired, becoming crashed into, and pretty much everything else I use so often it's now normal language to me. It's been so infinitely quotable for nearly two decades.

Anytime I see a photo of the earth anywhere, I can’t help but say “dang, that is a sweet earth”

I just came here to get the link for this for my mom because she hasn't seen the actual video in like a decade but told my brother today that she was le tired. We're in our 30s and our mom is in her 50s and the three of us still quote this video on a regular basis.

My mom passed away last week, she worked with computer engineers and they'd always send each other videos like this. She thought it was the funniest thing, she'd say "I'm le tired" all the time.
