This is my thought about this swim spa cover and I hope this is helpful to those who are planning to buy this type of cover.

It seems a possible solution for the negatives of this cover (rain getting in, weight, sun damage) might be to use a tarp to provide some protection from the elements. Our fold up cover has been an issue for 3.5 out of the 4.5 years we've had it. A tarp has been used for additional protection for the cover since its been falling apart & retaining water & has made it useable for the last 6 months. The other day, the wear, weight & separation at the seams proved too much for the cover & one side just went completely t!ts up. We aren't in a snow area...maybe 8" per year max. I am planning to purchase a End2End cover because I cannot see going back with the current mess. Also, he will have the exact same issues with the folding cover like he mentioned. The ice will weigh it down just the same. He gave zero reasons why the rolling cover is worse than the folding cover

I use my End2End Cover every day. I’ve had it for several years now, once you understand the design concept it’s a pretty simple cover to use. That’s the reason they make it with a dome frame - it’s to allow gravity to shed rain accumulation. If I get a particularly heavy storm or snow, I use a soft deck brush to brush it off before I roll the cover open. The most important thing I do is to keep the cover taut from the end straps and have the hoop rods standing straight up (vertical) at all times. I reached out to the company right after I installed it and they provided me with many helpful tips and cover care information. I also roll the cover both directions throughout the year, it keeps the internal frame serviced (as they told me it is designed to roll both directions) My personal experience is not only has the cover been light, but it is very user-friendly and easy to roll by myself. Hope this helps... Mariah

I'm so glad I came across this video. I've had this cover for about a month and a few arches on the far end don't stand up. I'll try opening from that side to see if it corrects. Also, I never thought about the snow/ice settling in between the arches and now I'll keep an eye on that. So far, I really like this cover and it's much easier to lift than the original cover that came with the swim spa. Thank you!

I purchased and top after the last hurricane blew my other top off. I problem is that it collects rain water and is SO HEAVY that I can open push back 1 foot at a time and let it drain-it takes 24 hours to drain enough to roll back to get into my swim spa. The arms that came & was installed on the spa were ripped off when I pushed the top onto them. I had a table built for it to be pushed onto now-I can not recommend this top it is very heavy and hard to use..

Good informative video. They didn’t mention the ice buildup when I ordered one of these covers and I’m in Ontario Canada.

Does the rolling spa cover insulate as well as the regular lift ones and do you know how long they are supposed to last? We have a regular lift one now, 4 years old, and it is becoming water-logged and the needs to be replaced. Just trying to decide on the best option. Thanks!

Hi the cover is well insulated with 3 years warranty, this cover will get heavy too. i think this is better than the lift ones and not blocking the views on both sides.

I just replace my waterlogged cover with this one. I've had it for a month and it's much easier to open and close and I can do it by myself. The old one became too heavy for me to lift. A few of the arches on one end are not arched and rainwater tends to gather in between. I end up lifting one side a bit to let it roll off. But as someone commented, maybe I need to roll from the other end occasionally. So far, the temperature has been steady and it just started getting cold here on the east coast. We will be draining it for winter in early November. I'm assuming I'll have to watch the cover for snow accumulation so it doesn't get damaged. So far, I'm pleased with the cover.

Chris this roll cover can be waterlogged too but it can be drain by slowly rolling them by few inches at a time, (I’m working on that video how to drain water inside the cover) lifting or curl on one end of the cover was my issue and yes by rolling the cover to other direction will help, i wish i knew this before to avoid algae.

Hi just wondering now that you have had you R200 a while what you think of it. Problems? I live in northern Alberta and plan to put it in the 3rd bay of my car garage to avoid it being outside.

Hi Rich, it will be 14 months that i have the spa no issue at all, no sign of fading on side panel, and as for the cover i am rolling the other way but still Little tough even if pull the straps but not to worry since they have 3yrs warranty, if you keep the spa inside and with large picture window would be awesome, all i can think is if you have kids or growing family get r500 if only couple r200 is fine, buy side panel lights its awesome at night ( i should have bought )And skip Bluetooth speaker. Good luck!

KABAYAN, is it worth it to spend 4k for this cover. I got an estimate and that's the price they gave me for a 18 ft swim spa.

Hi KABAYAN, Yes by far this is the best cover and affordable one, i paid 3k for my 12ft swim spa.

I live in FL. I say, no. The water gets in the cover and in your spa. Every time. I hate it!

I have had a end2end spa cover in Florida for almost 3 years. It has multiple tears because the fabric will not stand up to the UV sunlight. Everytime it rains it fills up with water and you can barely move it. The cost was more than 3k and it needs to go to the land fill. And there is no warranty because it only lasts for 3 years and it is prorated. Terrible investment. I also hate it!!!!
