No that’s more like the entire plot of dishonored one, literally someone who is a spymaster has the queen assassinated to gain power. Rimmy is that spymaster in this scenario only thing that solidified that would be for his crimes against the throne exposed and thrown into jail.

But... why? Who decided that the best way to represent welsh vowels in latin letters would be to use consonants?

@@darthplagueis13 it's not constinats, it's double letters: FF, dd, Ll, W (literally a Double u, i.e. something that in the medieval period would be writer as "uu"). When the welsh realized that they routinely use sounds, both vowels and consonants, that don't exist in the languages of mortal men, they decided (possibly asking a druid some dragon or dwarves for all i know) to use double letters to represent the sounds they didn't have Latin letters for by just using double letters assigned apparently at random, posibaly based on the moments of a sheep around a Ouija board. And then they wrote a song about it before the English came and ruined it. I think, I wasn't really paying attention to my Welsh flatmate as he said that, but i think thats the basic Gist of it.

@@darthplagueis13 Bit of research resulted in the answer of 'clusterfrak of weirdness and nobody knows'. Then trying to fix and codify the result into a consistent alphabet after the government of the time (english crown) made the language illegal due to it being 'morally wrong and holding the people from advancement'. More specifically, it was transcribed after oral histories into Latin symbology (which doesn't always use the same sounds and letters as the modern English alphabet) to try to specify the particular sounds. Why they chose the method used isn't known and it wasn't all that precise anyways. Then later there was the mess with the printing presses using arrangements of individual letter stamps, which didn't have all the stamps needed for the sheer number of consonants Welsh uses so they substituted. That inconsistency over time and being normalised resulted in it having to be formally codified to best-fit and there we go. Plus English not really using diacritics or digraphs and the way words change how they pronounce over time, etc and it starts to make a kind of sense.
