Thanos wants to cull half of the population of every living race in the universe This is actually close to genocide with little to no survivors.

For the record, Thanos wanted to kill half of all life. Isyander is saying he wants to sacrifice ALL intelligent life currently living in order to bring back the Endless from death.

Don't know why you'd want to bring back the old beings in the first place. The Endless were basically Forerunners but surprisingly more stupid.

Since their are Lost return epilogues for each faction, it does not requiere every currently living creature. Just a copious amount of bloodshed and labour. Still, i'd reject that too.

colin8696908 well, the acadamy plays a part in the vordiani questline. plus the last quest u get from the acadamy plays a big part in the lore and is a way to end the game.

I recently beat it, was more then I was expecting, although I did only get one little cut scene at the end. :/

It is hard to get that quest done.

colin8696908 they reworked the whole quest apparently, giving it more importance to the game and greater influence for the realm within it.

@@mrdoormat6809 actually on this trailer she fight against those lumeris in the side of the vodyani faction ^^ (we saw her command mavros troop on the ground who open fire on those lumeris dreadnought , the vodyani dude at the beginning is the leader of the academy not the vodyani faction leader , he's in war against its own race)

This trailer is slightly misleading. Isyander is doing it to reverse an ancient galaxy wide genocide of primordial god-like beings known as the lost. Obviously commiting a massive genocide just to cancel out another one is insane but he isn't just doing for the sake of control.

Revermen in gameplay? Yeah the peaceful ways have less risk to them and certain races can win while not fighting...and you're allies always interrupt your wars ending them before they conclude. But there are races you can do very well with war in the game.

Can always just steamroll someone in a 1v1 fight. Sometimes 1v2. Especially if they go for a pacifist victory.

For roleplaying aspects, it kinda matters? But for actual in game aspects, being the one who contributes the most tends to give you some very sweet buffs. Plus it has some debuffs against the opposing team should you win the quest. No more passive hero generation for them

yea, but the game has beautiful graphic aswell ingame aslong you have the hardware to run it . I havent crashed a single time on max graphic with a Nvidia Geforce 960 and i am atm at 330 hours played. I enjoy pause in battle and move the camera around and check out the cool ship. Also fun to pause when one explode, very well done and various ship explode diffirent ways. Or pause while a laser (or many) scratches on the suffes of a ship tearing parts off while leaving marks.

Its actually a really good 4X game.. try it :)

Skill issue

@@dylanschenkelberg7399 certainly not, i was just expecting a first person gameplay with ground battles and apace battles liek halo or destiny. Cased on the kinematics of the trailer and in reality it's more of a strategy game which isn't so much what im after and to me didn't warrant taking up 15 gigs on my system. since i literally played it a small handful of times. if the game-play was like the trailer the game woudl be more up my alley, but the trailer is telling the cinematic story that the game is about and the actual game isnt really my thing unfortunately. for those who like that, its great just isnt me. I used to play vega conflict in browser for a while but it too fell away from my interest. If you like the game though more power to you. it was really well built with incredible graphics just not my thing.
