Sounds quite spoopy of a module, neato! Don't feel bad about module color mattering in your case, I *literally* plan which modules I want _with_ user-experience aesthetics firmly in the forefront of my mind (color included). If it's not "candy-like" in some way, such as a quickly-attained full voice / expected unique-sounding modulation, masterful control layout, yummy-looking useful screen, or even well placed RGB LEDs ..then how likely am I to reach for it?? ...or, how quickly will I want to replace it with something I fancy more that does approx. the same thing? Btw Audio Parasites and Momomodular have alternative plates for popular modules as well; I'm planning to buy a couple eventually (once I get the modules they'll be going on)
