I really like Enemy of the Daleks. It's rather refreshing to have a Dalek story that's not about one of their grand plans, but is instead more of a war story. I particularly liked the psychological aspect of the story, with at least one soldier suffering from PTSD after surviving a Dalek attack. I also liked Hex's reaction to the Daleks. He's a nurse because he has so much respect and love for life, so facing something as evil and ruthless as the Daleks clearly shakes him. Yeah, this is a story I like a lot.

I absolutely love how Enemy of the Daleks is completely unapologetic in how it wants to feel like a *2000 AD* comic brought to audible life! It allowed the story to go to darker, more brutal places while still keeping this feeling of being a gonzo sci-fi action epic with things like Space Marines, Mad Japanese scientists, and horrible man-made creatures of uncontrollably destruction.

I haven’t listened to it but now I think I will this sounds great also the scene in the harvest where the doctor Walks of and let’s the cyber humans die is quite dark

I kinda wish you had a short about Dalek Attack. As a side note, I'd like to nominate the Dalek design from Destiny of the Doctors as the most obscure official Dalek design. Shame, seeing as how it's actually quite a great 'colour' scheme.

"Enemy" is my all-time favourite BF story. The performances of McCoy, Briggs and Co are fantastic, and the music is as good as anything by Murray Gold or Segun Akinola. I love the way that Sylvester McCoy's Doctor explicitly rejects the morals of his Fourth self, when faced with creatures even more dangerous than the Daleks, he decides its better for the universe to let them die. No "from their evil, there must come something good", its for the greater good to wipe them out.

according to the cancelled episodes page on the wiki, War of the Daleks was originally envisioned to be part of season 27

Hate to make you feel old, but _The Harvest_ isn’t set in the future anymore. It takes place around one year *before* you uploaded this video.

I honestly wouldn’t mind it being adapted for the show in a two parter “Family of Blood” style, if it means we get to see on tv that excellently chilling scene where the Kiseibya are making their first nest while they are all singing that Japanese lullaby “Sakura, Sakura…” in their sinister insectoid voices. And who knows, now that a private company is making the show outside of the notoriously thin BBC budgets, we might get grand stories the size of these Big Finish audio adventures as soon as it’s second season if it makes a ton of money worldwide on Disney+.
