I was of the same opinion about oil prices, however some have suggested that supply chains would be disrupted if that power cake goes off. Thus causing a slow down in production hence demand for energy would drop.
I think it’s got more to do with not wanting us plebs on ‘their’ roads ;-) They’ll price us off the roads regardless of what form of propulsion we use. They introducing VED next year (April 2025) for EV and small fuel efficient cars so it’s definitely not about being green it’s all about raking in the TAX money!
Have a look at the eco flow powerstream module steve, I'll do a review on mine when I get a chance let's you feed back. Yeah agree on what you talk about, I've taken a step back on what I say.
That’s a great product if you just want to supplement your power usage with some solar energy it can handle up to 400 watts each on it’s two solar inputs and works even better with their smart plugs, though it’s maximum output is 800W so your 2KW kettle will still need to pull 1.2KW from the grid. It can’t provide emergency power if the grid goes down because of safety reasons it switches off otherwise would back feed the grid and endanger anyone working on it. I’m hoping Ecoflow bring their Smart Home panel 2 to the UK market as that would allow me to have full home backup without having trip hazards with all the extension cables I’ve got everywhere ;-) though I do use those rubber cable safety conduits where I have a permanent need for power.
@user-zo2pc5lu5q I have a full solar and battery system anyway, but 3 powerbanks sitting around that give addition input via the power streams. Great kit.
