Assalam aleikum Sister, I am a native Hungarian convert hijabi Muslimah and I would like to draw your attention and the attention of all Muslims living in Budapest who read my comment to halal meat. It is not enough to have the halal certificate shown by the company, there should be a sticker on each package about where, when and who cut it, who checked it. Otherwise, what guarantee is there that it has not been switched or mixed up? A halal certification has 2 steps: 1. a certification of suitability in principle, that the establishment is capable of halal slaughter, to produce halal products. 2. certification of the actual quantity produced, from the beginning to the end of the process. This must be shown on the premises, in the form of a label or stamp, which, according to some information on the label, will show where and when the product was produced, who checked it, etc. I therefore recommend that you only buy products that have this information on them. Unfortunately, Satan never sleeps. Alhamdulillah there are quite a few Turkish grocery stores and Arab butchers where you can find reliable goods. May Allah give you the best Sister and make your efforts a success! Ameen

Putting candles on cake is shirk. All benefit and harm is from Allah alone. No bad omens. Its all shirk. Reciting happy birthday is a pagan ritual. Beware of riya(hidden shirk) .
