@@touradbah1529 i feel like it's more ambiguous and up to the viewer. I personally agree and think the he felt like there was some sort of "spark" and history between them but he didn't remember her at all
@@bonniebonnie2104Definitely! I felt a lot more sad watching this sad-yet-forbidden reunion than compared to when she reunited with Chungmyung. I wish he could have remembered her. T.T
she was with him when they were still kids (as per what Man Weol told Chan Sung about her relationship with Yeon Woo) until they grew up, of course losing a family whom you can never see nor touch is heart wrenching.
Chungmyung was Manweol's first love. And Chung myung was there for 1300 years for man weol. And Chung myung died by mistake and didn't even get to hug manweol before he leave. I mean both have tragic relationship but Chung myung has worst.
Man wol loved Yeon Woo like a brother but I felt like he loved her beyond that. The scene under the tree when Man Wol decided to go meet Cheong Myung one more time and she left Yeon Woo hanging after promising that she'll return then his facial expression after she left really nailed that lost love feeling.
I saw it as sibling love. They've been together for too long, depending on each other and protecting each other hence the thought of parting is also hard esp that it was sudden. His look was more of a concern she might not make it back and he might lose a sibling. There was no indication of romantic love in their relationship. he was happily playing the traditional instrument while the other two were sitting together. If the director intended him to be a third wheel, we would've seen him looking at them with jealousy not just in these scene but in the other interactions they had and probably in the present time as well.
Seriously tho this scene is really sad😭😭man wol smiled in tears hurt my heart so much😭😭 and when yeonwoo see man wol it seems like he recognized her even tho he never meet her in this life😭😭 hotel del luna have a lot of funny part but when it comes to sad part you can cry a river
The most heartbreaking is when man wol was the only one who remember people from the past life but they don't , everybody is carry on their life but she still the same 💔 what a lonely
Love the ending of this drama. Imagine, all the people in her past life already reincarnated and have forgotten what hurt them, and here she is, stuck with all her grudges. Even Koo ChanSung reincarnated. So it was also fair for her to move on to the afterlife even if that means not being with ChanSung in this lifetime.
This was the most heartbreaking scene in the drama I think. They were family and she had to watch him and her people die, and carried the guilt of his death for all these years. He died in order to spare her. She became this bitter and cold because of his death. This scene when they both looked at each other was so tender and fragile.
This scene where Man-Wol meets Yeon Woo, then she calls for Chung-Myung these were the most touching moments of Hotel Del Luna. Very well played out, and IU looked so pretty in red.
5:02 this was the most emotional part......she met him after a long time but didn't go near him instead looked at him from afar with all her memories of the past n love...... honestly it was heartbreaking yet warm 5:15 that smile as she tears up .....it just shows how much she missed him n how much she wants to get close to him yet for his sake she looks at him from afar
She hasn't moved on and is still living her past up until now, watching her love ones go and leave her behind. Then finally reincarnating like nothing happened, they won't be able to remember even her name but for her it's still them, it's the same people she loves. That's why being immortal is the worst kind of punishment. 😔😔😔
@@tiffanycastrodes7082 😂 I don't know, but I find this is funny, "she killed him", but "it's all in the past", so it's okay🤣 a drama make this possible
@@phls11 Ma'am it happened 1300 years ago it's there past life what do you expect...Mah boi is a thief in the past and now he's a police officer that's all that matters, plus she doesn't even know that she dated the man he killed,She doesn't even remember her pastlife pfft.. people change 🤪
Rewatching this and I still believe that he remembered her. That is not a look of a guy weirded out of a stranger looking at her like that . I believe that he felt something (his eyes changed before seeing Man Wol's face), and those flashback scenes are actually his memories flashing back his past life with her. You cant convince me other wise! haha
Honestly started watching this for yeo jingoo, fell in love with the story and by the time it finished, I became IU's fan n realised y jungkook respects her so much!!
when IU goes as an Actress, you forget that she is a singer/songwriter, a top artist in korea and when IU goes as a Singer/Songwriter, you also forget that she is one of the respected actress in korea dang this person is unbelievable
Man watching back small clips of hotel del luna makes my heart still ache their face expressions and the music background ost still the best drama ever ❤
the way she is trying to smile after looking yeon woo .. even though she is crying in her heart...oh man my heart really aches...im literally tearing up one of the most heart breaking scene from hdl :(
even now I still believe that yeonwoo remembers her. Like not clearly remember her but he knows her by his dream or something. you can see by his face impression when he saw her
I love the last scene of this video of jang man wol and yeon woo . It's so emotional when they look into each others' eyes, so beautiful . I see this video clip so many times , whenever I see this I am bursting into tears and said ,"at least they could talk to each other just for once". I love this k drama hotel del luna 💖
I feel like Yeon Soo : -Somehow felt like he has seen Jang Man Wol somewhere before however he couldn't remember and recall due to his past life ; making him stare at her for a while. Another point would be the episode where he went to Hotel Del Luna via Jang Man Wol invitation : - He drank a cocktail containing Wollyeong flower petal (bringing his past life memories flashback, for a moment and Jang Man Wol could see through those memories of his.) however, when he woke up in the taxi, he ended up crying without knowing why or what even happened.
Masterful acting, no need for any dialogue, the expression alone and song background are enough to move me to tears, even I only know the gist of the whole series, definetely one in my bucket list of k drama to binge watch
