I watched this when it first came out and the first time I literally had tears in my eyes. I don't know why, it just made me so happy I felt like crying.

Is this song about the story of the goddess Amaterasu Omikami locking herself in a cave and being convinced to leave by the people partying outside the cave entrance? Especially the line "You're the light which lets us shine." It appears to be based off that story.

Why does this song make me incrediably happy? (maybe 'cause it reminds me of tyring to comfort my older sister who is insecure, and I try to cheer her up; she is actually very pretty, but she doubts her self, we are six years apart, and she asks for advice fom a eighth grader but I try my best.)

Based on the mythology, Ammy (Amaterasu a.k.a Japanese god of the Sun) was angered by Susanoo(The God of storms) after he distroyed some of Ammy's field and one of her apprentices after losing to her in a competition, so she hid inside a cave in anger, the ama-no-iwato. The land was covered in darkness when she was hiding. Many gods and goddesses asked her to come out but all fails. The Goddess of merriment thought of a plan. She danced on top of a large drum while wearing leaves and flowers, and after awhile she sheds the leaves (oh god) and dances naked. The gods roared with laughter and Ammy finally came out of the cave in curiosity, dazzled by her own appearance in a bronze mirror. She was pulled out of the cave and started to erase the depression as she joined up with the party. The cave was sealed off after Ammy leaves. Do not question the mythologies they are ridiculous

I love how the composer turned an ancient Japanese legend into a cute story about loving yourself. Edit: I called it a lewd story but it's not lewd, my bad

Gumi and Miku always have AWESOME duets (Matryoshka,Spinal Fluid Explosion Girl,etc) and then Rin joins them and BOOM your head just exploded from the awesomeness they radiate

I have never felt more good about myself after watching this video. When I was in school I had complimented on a girls shoes before class saying they were pretty. Later when school was over, that bitch and her 'friends' attempted to push me down a flight of stairs. Traumatized, I had spent the rest of my life locked in my room wondering what I did wrong, not understanding that she was the one who did wrong. So when I heard the verse "if there are people bullying you, that means you are a great person" I almost shed tears. So I agree and accept what happened and will probably learn to forgive in the near future.

*watches the video for the first time* this pretty good *watches video again* wait a second !?!? Isn't this basically telling the story of how susano-wo angered Amaterasu and so she hid herself in a cave until the god of jewellers, god of smiths and the goddess of dance (also including the god of ancestors) manage to get her out of the cave so that the sun can shine again (this is what I read in a book so someone can correct me if I'm wrong about any of this)

This made me cry a bit out of happiness..because this reminds me of my school class, and how our class we're all depressed on how we're doing bad at school and no one cared for us..until this year our 7th grade teacher was our hero and gaves us the light, and is helping feel happy, and even if we're going through things, we can still goof around and be happy, we're all here for eachother, yet he doesnt see how he's the light. Im so grateful, i bet my class are too Xx oh and all the other classes are jealous of us now, but we dont care we just enjoy our time with eachother and our teacher. 😂 assassination classroom vibes lol
