I don’t know it well either but Korean doesn’t have the “z” sound in their alphabet and Japanese does. So when they say some Japanese word with the “z” sound they replace it with a “j” and I find it super cute

Imo Medusa and Ras are the only ones almost without kr pronunciation currently! They're all improving though!

ras pronouncation of 'ts' like 'tsuyoi' (strong) sounds like 'ch' from 'charles' word. It becomes quite a bit of meme amongst the participants in CR cup in fact.

They do have a certain accent because of certain pronunciations. Other than pronunciations, there's like the tone(?) they speak in that makes them sound like Koreans speaking Japanese. But tbh, Ras' is really like the best i've heard so far that has like very little of those kinds of accent, i think Medusa too. But the rest of them, they still got that accent and a bit of awkwardness when they speak Japanese.

I'm curious.. can Mondo and CPT speak english? I never see any clip of him speaking in english compared to Ras and Selly🥺 Also i can't wait for Zeder to learn basic Japanese and played on stream with other Japanese streamers, because i'm curious about him.

Idk about mondo but cpt can speak english~ or atleast he can understand and communicate with his listener, still preferably use simple english so that he can understand more xD i commented in english once and few listeners did as well! He answered it using english also 😂 i forgot the video but i believe its in one of his YT stream during CR Cup custom practice

actually it is easier for ppl who can speak english and other languages to learn more languages including japanese and since some korean words has the same meaning and pronunciation with japanese, it is easier for CR korean guys to speak japanese quickly.. even cpt also is this allowed to be clipped here ? every and each of CR streamers has their own official clips YT channel, did u ask permission first ? its not allowed without permission 禁止じゃないっすか？2年前だけど､､ま？

From what I noticed, Cpt either speaks in phrases or he doesn't really speak in full sentences but, he understands a good amount. According to Mondo, Cpt doesn't study all that much but he does consume anime and such japanese media. Selly speaks slowly but his speeches have a little more complexity I'd say. But take my opinion with a grain of salt.
