[RECIPE]
Taro Jiim
Ingredients)
700g(skinned 500g) fresh taro
100g beef bulgogi, cut
10 shishito pepper
1/2 onion, sliced
3 dried shittake mushroom, stem removed, cut into pieces
1 red pepper, bias-cut
400ml dreid shittake mushroom soaking broth
1t sesame oil
sesame seeds t.t
1t salt
1/2T cooking oil
sauce)
a.p.soy sauce 4T, minced scallion 2T, minced garlic 1T, sesame seeds 1/2T, sesame oil 1/2T, ground black pepper t.t
Preparation)
1. Cook fresh taro in boiling water for 3 minutes; skin with rubber gloves on.
2. In rice water, add salt; place skinned taro and cook briefly. Rinse under running cold water.
3. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients to create the sauce.
4. Season beef bulgogi with 2T of sauce.
5. In a pot, add taro to cook; place seasoned bulgogi to cook.
6. Add seasoning sauce and mushroom soaked water, shittake mushrooms; cover with a lid, and continue to cook for 15minutes.
7. When taro is cooked, add shishito peppers and cook for another 5minutes. Add red peppers, season with sesame seeds and sesame oil to finish.
