It's because there is no translation to Italian "bad words", I know cause the same happens with Spanish. The way we insult every single day nobody has it😂😂
His accent is pretty thick but he did a really good job! I can understand him perfectly without subtitles. This says a lot, believe me 😂 I've seen different actors trying to say only a few words in Italian and oh boy it was bad. The fact that he managed to pull off full sentences... hats off! Bravo!
I agree the one point. I really like dedication of the director who puts a lot effort on vincenzo character. Because to look realistic that his is from Italy she let him talk more sentences in Italian. She really did a great job and she took littreally care of small details. Hats off to director.
@@shaudiaakter3986 the literal translation for damn it is "dannazione" but we don't use it very often in a normal conversation. You can also say "Maledizione!" Or "Accidenti!"
@PeaceMinusOne Honestly he has a bad accent and a terrible pronunciation, but for us Italians hearing him speak that way is a lot of fun and therefore we appreciate his "special" acting. It is especially fun to hear him say all those bad words, Italians adore swearing, lol!
Nient'altro.
@@psngrl7677 Well per me lui e molto bravo a parlare in Italiano like non e male sai? come dire almeno ci riesco a capire quello che lui dice so is not that bad (sorry for keep switching italian and english but do you get what i mean right)
@@psngrl7677 io l'unica cosa che ho capito con l'aiuto dei sottotitoli è quando ha detto taci al cane....per il resto ho capito....secondo me non capisci bene l'italiano tu allora ..xd
I'm Italian and I always thought Korea and Italy have a lot of similarities! We both are proud of our culture and food, we both are usually loud and outgoing and family oriented. Both Korea and Italy are peninsulas and we have a lot of different dialects. I noticed there are similarity with the difference accents in the north and sud regions, and we have the island of Sicily in the extreme sud while Korea has Jeju island 😂 seoul would be Milan and busan Naples, ecc ok i'll stop
Korea this year just smashed it. Vincenzo, Squid Game, Hometown Cha Cha etc. I felt deeply in love with your cinematography this year. Very natural and well done. And men are so gorgeous. Real ikemen. 😊😊
I'm Italian and I think he did a wonderful job in his pronunciation, some words are difficult to pronounce especially the 'R' sounding words but I'm sure we would struggle to speak Korean as well. I love him, he's so handsome. He sounded even more sexy speaking Italian. Congrats.
Me da mas risa porque soy Argentina y estamos acostumbrados a escuchar a los italianos, y nunca me imagine escucharlo de un coreano. Es muy graciosa la mezcla de culturas😂
His Italian is pretty good for a person who has only spoken Korean maybe a little English for his life. The dialect coach must have been really patient and positive with him. Song Joong ki can do anything in my eyes. He’s always hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Seriously, he did a really good job. Plus his voice in Italian sounds really sexy. Italian is not easy to pronounce so he did a very good job with intonation, accent and pronunciation. It’s really strange for me to hear Italian language in a kdrama 😂
Because of this kdrama, I got the desire to learn Italian and am now also totally interested in the culture of Italy. It’s such a good drama and awesome actors, haven't seen such a good kdrama in a long time. Bravo ✨🤌🏼
I'm Italian and I think the actor and the screenwriters did a great job. Only very few sentences didn't make any sense at all, but most of the times they were correct and his pronunciation was good for the most part, certainly better than what we usually hear in american movies. Obviously he didn't sound completely natural and definitely didn't sound as fluent as someone who supposedly grew up in Italy, but considering that the actor learnt Italian just for this role, hats off to him!
i'm italian i had no idea what a korean accent would have sounded on italian language and i must say: pretty hot ngl he is really good! i mean clearly there's an accent but i could understood 99% of the things he was saying (except for "shut up!" part, i think he's talking in dialect there, am i right? he's saying "tacc" instead of the proper "stai zitto" (shut up)) italian is a very difficult language and he did a great job! grande vincenzo non ho idea di come sia venuta loro l'idea di un mafioso coreano ma è stato molto divertente vederlo lmao
No sabia que el italiano es dificil, pero yo que hablo español te he entendido todo tutti! Lol maybe it's the Italian influence in the Argentinians words that I can read and understand most stuff😂
The subtitles are verrrryyyy inaccurate like most of the stuff he's saying is really vulgar but they've just left the swear words out of the translation. "Porca troia vaffanculo" as "damn you" is the funniest in my opinion 😂😂
@@soffiahjane1842 So for the one in my comment, instead of "damn you" I would translate it as "f*ck off you dirty sl*t" which is quite funny because he's shouting it at a man 😭And everytime he says "damn it" in the subtitles he's actually saying cazzo which is more like the f word. The only word that they actually bleeped for him is coglione which can be used to say asshole, which is the tamest thing he ever says?? And finally I dont remember if its in this video but I'm pretty sure at one point he even said something like porco dio or porca madonna which are the strongest types of swear words in Italian beacuse they are religious blasphemies 😂So the translation is very watered down but..yh its quite funny
@@camillaa1837 Yes... In Italy you can say anything on TV but not the blasphemies (the insults against God, Jesus, Mary and the Saints), in that case you are expelled from the shows in which you work, there are endless controversies on social networks and on TV and you are also forced to apologize (like when in Korea an idol is caught with a woman or while smoking as a minor). It's hilarious to see someone who says blasphemies on a foreign TV show without causing an uproar! Ah, ah, ah!
@@mello1074 same in Argentina, we were so influenced by Italians that we even have bad words that come from the Italian and we say bad words everyday even on the News, LOL. Vengo dall'Argentina ma capisco tutto quello che è scritto in italiano, è divertente!
@@camillaa1837 I'm pretty sure that he never said the blasphemies, I watched the series twice and I never heard him say those things (I'm Italian, so I would have noticed), but all the other things he said... I was so shocked when I heard them the first time! XD
E' bravissimo! La parte delle parolacce? Un italiano vero!! Mi ha fatto ridere!😂😂😂 Bravissimo! Non è stato sicuramente facile! Da come parla penso non abbia mai parlato italiano prima, ricordare tutte le frasi non è stato facile sicuramente! Bravissimo davvero! He's very good! The bad words part? True italian! Made me laugh!😂😂😂 Very good! It was certainly not easy! From how he speaks I think he has never spoken Italian before, remembering all the sentences was certainly not easy! Really very good!
Omg i have watched the drama ,but i just can't get over him speaking italian and here i am searching videos...where he is speaking italian only....Damn he is soo good 😩😩😩😩❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜😭😭
I knew when I clicked on the video that I would likely perish. And I have. Ghost writing in my stead. Bruh his voice is much more husky raspy and deep I feel when speaking Italian. It's... beautifully erotic. Almost like he's making love to you through voice. But he probably isn't even intending for that effect. lol. It's wonderful lol. #reasonnumber10234 Why Song Joong-K is one of my favorite actors! The dedication to this role MY GAWD.
What i love is his accent and husky voice !!! And also how well the Italian taste for food was depicted !!! It sounded so close to home. Like overcooked pasta, americano that tastes like dirty water, no ketchup. These are all things Italians hate and it was so well done through his voice and mannerisms. Hats off to the writers of the show.
I was already a fan of him and I’m not even Italian but since my native language is Spanish I can understand everything he says, mainly because there are not really hard sentences and OMG his accent, the way he pronounces every Italian word, OMG hjhfdsgjhfg it really suits him, I’m curious about how he’s Spanish accent would be, I hope he speaks Spanish a little in another drama/movie.
everytime he speaks in italian, i turn up my volume to hear him speak clearly. rip to my replay button for replaying the part he speaks italian because i can't get enough of how sexy his accent is especially when he speaks italian and he's angry and the way his voice becomes husky as he speaks italian.
