Engine Effects range offers the modeler a series of references to reproduce the fuel stains, the spilled oil, the marks left by the oil drums on the floor of the truck, the dirt accumulated in the engine compartment, all these to enhance the realistic aspect of the model.

One thing I like about Vallejo is they not only show the colors they offer but also how to use them. A lot of the other manufacturers seemingly make them and throw them out there...almost like they're saying "here it is, take it or leave it!"

I'm truly impressed by the realism of the blood. I bought like every engine effect from vallejo according to this video. Do i only need the engine effects + wash for the blood effect recipe, or am i missing something? Thanks in advance!

Hello Kaj! You'd need Dark Rust (Wash) and Fuel Stains and Petrol Spills (Engine) :)

Is the paint sealed with a varnish before applying these effects?

What to do when the liqued has separated from the paint? My oil stains 73.813 and diesel stains 74.816 are now a thick clump and fluid around in the bottle. Mixing it does nothing. Any advice, they are only few years old

Hello Tanner! Thank you so much for reaching out to us! Have you attempted to mix the formula in the bottle using a stick to achieve the desired consistency? If that's not feasible, it's possible that the bottle may have lost moisture, which could have caused the paint to dry slightly.

@@vallejocolors Mixing them with a stick does nothing. If i mix it between my fingers, its just turns into soft "clay".

@@TannerG1989 If you can mix it until it becomes a "soft clay" then you must stir very very well because you should be able to get the right consistency again. That could mean the product hasn't still dry completely and you can recover it.

I watch and listen to videos while I work. I don't watch videos to read them. Is there any chance you will make a video with someone talking? If not I will not get much out of them. I just don't have the time to sit here and read a video. Sorry...
