I catch up on some engine room maintenance & Kylie makes some Banana Muffins for morning tea. The muffin recipe can be found at "We cook whey more than a yoghurt recipe - thermogroovers community" facebook page.
Those muffins look delicious Kylie! The Thermomix is invaluable isnt it. However the scales , which are attached to the small 'feet', are very delicate. You can buy a Thermomix Slide to sit your machine on. Then It is much easier to move about on the bench and the scales are not damaged. Its not cheap but well worth it I reckon. Thanks for sharing your story and life on your gorgeous boat.
Great video thanks for sharing your experience Kylie I’m like you I call it no nonsense baking 🤣🤣 Kylie I have been in contact with thermomix re the scales theses thermo mixes are expensive I feel this shouldn’t happen to the scales .. I’ll keep you posted I even brought the sliding tray thinking this may help Happy baking 😂
Hi Kay! Are your scales ok on land? Mine are…. No digital scales work on water…. I bought mine from home and have ended up buying an analogue set 🤦🏼♀️ I get my machine serviced every 2-3 years - fished my minor hiccups ❤️
@@JohnHayes-qs6ez on land yes even in the marina they play up … I went to Kmart brought some I’ve sent a video to the company we are t the only ones that have their Therm on their boats It’s just annoying as it’s another item I don’t want in my galley … Do you make your yogurt out on the water or more when your in a marina ? Thanks Kylie 👍🥂

That’s pretty much what we burn , 18ltr an hour at 1500 but down to about 14.5 -15 at 1400 revs , we are pretty under propped but and can easily hit 2750rpm wot so engines are very lightly loaded , we swing into coochie on champagne cruise in a couple of months great little spot , thanks for the replies
Great video mate , can you please tell me your fuel burn at 1500 rpm , I dropped down to 1400 lately on the same Engines and have noticed a large decrease cheers
At 1500 we average 9.5 litres per hour and average 6.5 knots. Turtle came from Singapore at those figures, so have adopted the same , we are not in a hurry.👍
