I recently got an English bulldog puppy myself. She started doing this today it also included her coughing up clear mucous. It scared the heck out of me, I thought she was choking because she was gagging at one point. She really isn't around other dogs so I don't think it's kennel cough. She has been on her food for months and is eating and pooping normally. Except for this cough today which also is accompanied by a cough which sometimes sounds like she is losing her voice
andres venegas yes it went away. It is called a backwards sneeze. Just means they have something in their nose/throat they want to cough out. She was chewing on Nylabones and she had a little plastic flake from the nylabone she coughed out very tiny it was just making her a little itchy she’s fine now
KaPKaN I still don't know for sure what the reason was..the vet said it was probably just reverse sneezing but it doesn't seem like that to me at all.I think it somehow has to do with her stomach not being able to digest her food properly, or it might be allergies.i usually give her some digestion tablets and it seems to help a lot
