Question : 'People make assumptions about others based on what they wear. What is your opinion ?' - Yes. Would this answer be good be enough to ace C2 ?
@The-English-Professor
@The-English-Professor 11 месяцев назад
No it would not pass C2. You need to elaborate on why you agree or disagree with the statement. You should aim to speak for at least thirty seconds but ideally longer ! David

Good evening sir David. I am Georgina from Mauritius a small island I have done two time, the first time I passed in listening and lettering. The second time I passed with merit in lettering and speaking pass in my listening but failed in reading. Can you help me to improve in the reading test b1 for UK

Hello Georgina, thanks for your message. In fact I have been to Mauritius, I was there two years ago. It is a beautiful country. Well, it is difficult for me to say what problem you have with the reading part of the exam. I think it would be better if you found an English teacher in Mauritius who is familiar with the LanguageCert exams. Is this possible? Face to face lessons are always more beneficial for the student. David

The six levels of English English A1 (Beginner) Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where someone lives, people they know and things they have. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. Similar to LanguageCert Prelimanary level English A2 (Elementary) Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with users of the target language quite possible without imposing strain on either party.
