I'm a bit bias towards to English dubb only because I was first introduced to the English dubbed anime. That being said, I am half Asian so I do really enjoy the original Japanese voices as well, kenshiro is a "man's man" in any language. Also well done and thanks for the sick upload.

I have always wanted to watch the anime (I just haven't got around to it) it is amazing how much of an influence FOTS has had on the world. I've read even today, it's still huge in the east.

The English VA sounds WAYYYY too much like Guts for me to say he's a good Kenshiro. The Japanese VA? Kiryu-chan! :D His voice is so manly, warm, bass-filled, and fitting for Kenshiro. :3

I think a lot of characters in the English VA are like that, personally. I know the guy who voiced Kenshiro also voiced Prompto in the English VA

I love that Patrick Seitz voices Raoh though. Hard to not recognize that guy, much like Steve Blum and Matt Mercer

@@angelfire3000 Matthew Mercer would've been perfect for Kenshiro IMO. It's a shame they didn't use him for Kenshiro. Though to be fair, wouldn't that have resulted in another Jotaro vs Dio type situation? lol

I can’t really say because I really enjoyed the Yakuza series so I’m kinda biased towards the Japanese voices

The only reason I play this game subbed is so I can hear "omae wa mou shindeiru" and I admit that with zero shame

English dubs have definitely gotten better over the years compared to older anime. But I'd still play it in Japanese w/ English subs.

I prefer dubbed anime, but I did get used to the Japanese VA for the Yakuza games and I like Kiryu-chan’s manly voice. I have to admit though this dub is actually pretty good, I might stick with the English version

Both have their ups and downs. I was gonna cover the whole game, but sega started copyrighting a lot of scenes, so I only have the first quarter of the game.

Ive already played this game, and the only Dub that fits is the Japanese, because Kiryus/Kenshiros Voice is epic badass, in the english one he sounds like a tryhard cool guy...

You are very right. When I saw the English dub of the hokuto no Ken series (after I seen the Japanese version)Kenshiro in English sounded like a teacher with a monotone voice in comparison to the original manly Japanese voice.
