@Untold i wouldn't say this really looks like a motorbike, not like a super73 style bike. I think they'd be more interested in people riding dangerously. Like if you rode sedately past some police they probably wouldn't care. That's not to say if you ride past an ebike expert having a bad day they won't do anything though.

Do you notice a significant change in acceleration from sport mode to eco mode when accelerating to 25km/h? How long does your 0-25s usually go for? Good to know for EU users :)

Quite a bit different. It's like a 250w bike in eco mode.

Regen isn't on the x version of the bike it's still on the pro version

damn so it can do only 38 km range while maintaining around 48mk/h speed, its good that i watched your video because i need minimum 40km range going full speed with pedal asist and this bike was my serious contender from other bikes for the speed, price and folding,, i just need it to get to my work and back on one charge with maximum speed possible on the way, its funny when i look at the engwe website where its locked to 25km/h they clam pas mode range 160km while on different country version of the engwe where there is no speed limit on the bikes 45km/h they claim 120km range pass mode, bro they getting this range data while the bike have zero load or wind resistance just wheel in the air and and let it run till it turns off

Thanks, very interested in the bike, especially with its regen. Any comments on how much rain the Engine Pro you feel comfortable riding in? ...not intentionally but say if you were caught out in one.

I wouldn't mind if it started tipping it down. It's not waterproof but it seems very water resistant. Second half to this video is coming later and I go through a huge puddle that I'm sure reached the motor 😬

I have a standard ado a20f not the +. Not sure what you mean though. Gear 8 is very usable in sport.mode though to help the motor if that's what you mean.

@@e-VRC Yes that's what i mean, the ado in the 7 gear if you go faster then 25 km you have to peddel very fast to keep up. It's a gear thing i think?

you just hold down one of the buttons. I think its the mode button.

On the ENGWE X26, how do I change the different modes? ECO Mode. Sport Mode etc ... my bike doesn't seem to get above 500 watts and when holding the thumb trottle down the assisted power the power tends to slowly stop helping and the only way to get it to assist again is to change the power level assit up or down to get it to help again, it's very frustrating

Pretty sure you hold one of the buttons down. I do it in my engine pro review. The bike is in storage at the mo so i can't test it.

This sounds like what happened in a review I watched the other day where a guy who usually tests motorbikes was having issues with his.

I just realised i had a similar bike right behind me. You hold doen the 'i' button in the middle to change modes. Now this bike behind me says that sport mode will only work for 3 mins and once used cannot be used again for 10 mins. I guess to prevent overheating.

It only goes over 30mph if I pedal in the highest gear. Although if I were lighter maybe it could. I see you have a samebike. They're pretty nice, what do you think about it?

I did a video about a 15.5 mph ebike (ride to the country or something) and I still wore that helmet. It's just safer. I don't have motorcycle armour on though just helmet and gloves.

@@e-VRC the wifes samebike has longer handlebars than the ado i have making it more comphy to ride further also the throttle works in all settings the ado it will work only is setting 4 and 5 without peddle asist the samebike has a better range as it has a 48v 10.4 battery vs the ados 36v 10amp battery the power from the samebike comes in softer the ado seems to have more of a pushboth bikes have a 350 w mottor ristricted to 250 and wouldnt manage your test on hills thhat are to long incline also thay say throttle is not alowed in uk but having emailed the department of transport and having an email back you are able to have one as long as its ristricted to 15mph a lot of bike sellers (shops) are telling ppl only peddle assist is alowed
