Perfect size for my wrist. I love the dimensions of this piece. 20 bar water resistance and 70 hours power-reserve makes it a perfect tool-watch. The lume is outstanding. I own mine for a few months now and it soon became my watch with the most wrist-time.

Don't change the date between 21:00 and 01 :00 rotate it to 6 a clock then change the date otherwise you can break the movement

I have mine for almost half a year and still love it, wear it nearly everyday (wear my Casio GMW-B5000 doing heavy jobs). My authorised dealership manage to get me a bracelet from SPB241/243 models which I keep it on making it wearable all year round plus I switch it back to its leather for dress occasions.

The Seiko Alpinist (ie, almost all derivatives), is truly the watch brand to cover most style needs. There are about five versions plus a few Sharp Edge GMTs, coupled with clean ARITA PORCELAIN pieces that could provide a well balanced watch game. Mostly, the Alpinist... These pieces are too nice for hiking, mountaineering, etc. For that action, go GShock Frogman, Gravity Master, or Rangeman. Just an opinion gents.

I just brought this. Too classy to be a tool watch, too tough and rugged to be a dress watch... meaning, it's the perfect do anything watch, which is what I wanted.

Aren’t you not suppose to change the date when the hands are between 10 and 2 on a automatic?
