You totally nailed me. We love to give, along with all the other super powers we have, but sometimes can feel stretched, numb and exhausted. Ironicallly we feel more alive when we are giving, but when it's time to self recharge can feel loss of purpose during down time, but it's so necessary. Thank you!
I’m surprised how meaningful that was to me (2w3) to hear you thank us for our “two-ness.” I don’t hear that very often and it meant a lot. I identify with a two “in health,” after YEARS of therapy, learning about boundaries and self care and avoiding negative caretaking of others. Quite a journey and the Enneagram helps a lot. Thanks for your videos.
Thankyou for sharing positive side and appreciating Type 2 because many times they are misunderstood and its their nature to be caring and loving without any expectations. I would like to share what I learnt from my psychologist was self care which I felt I have always consciously neglected and not being aware of .I realized that I need to take enough alone time to self reflect and introspect to discover my inner self. Feel much grateful, pls kindly make more videos about relationships between each type can have differences and how they can work together for better purpose in life for family , friends and community.
You hit the nail on the head with this one! My wife is a type 2, she is very supportive and generous even to a fault. It seems she relies on the recipient of her generosity to tell her when they have received enough. . guess how that works! As a Type 5, even after 42 years, I'm still confused by this.
