I'm an 8w7 and by your FOMO i think my partner must be a 7 lmao. He is constantly worried about missing anything fun to HIM. He has to be 1w7 or something very self focused. Thank god I’m not the only one. I just found out about the enneagram and I’m a type 7 apparently. The explanation of a 7 makes so much sense why we are not handling this well at all. I think if we get in an unhealthy mode, we tend to show type 1 tendencies.

I don't feel superficial, but what if all the things I think are so deep and important really aren't, and everyone knows it but me and that's why I've never felt at home on earth? What if everyone can spot this weird otherness of mine a mile off, or what if everyone else doesn't even actually exist and it's just me all alone and feeling alienated, but from what because no one else exists - am I alienated from myself? Family cloths? That's nothing! What really matters is why I feel this way and if my feelings are real, and if so, how can I make myself feel otherwise, and even if they're not I still want to feel connected, though not to actual people in person, of course, because that's just exhausting. 4 four 4.

That's part of the joy/pain of being a four, at least for me. On the one hand, I like being unique (or at least, thinking of myself as unique), but then I often feel misunderstood, which makes me nearly panic it's so bad. I love these girls' work, and it's so funny, but I suspect neither is a four (maybe they've said elsewhere, I don't know). Fours aren't dippy, flaky, or New Agey (necessarily). The fact that I'm not New Agey and don't buy into auras and similar stuff, made me decide enneagram is much more reliable than Myers-Briggs, where I'm INFJ. But I never felt INFJ was me because INFJ seems like more a set of beliefs than a personality type. Four is introverted, self-absorbed (yes 😞), and focused on being real, finding out and having an identity; not identifying indigo children and reading peoples' auras.

But I have texted my grandparents and my parents numerous times asking if I can please get whatever they need for the store of them because I don’t want them to go because I love them and want them to stay safe. & I am mad at them when they don’t let me go for them. I'm curious, if you identified with 9 -Did you see bits of you in the other Ego My #1 wing has been in judge mode, 2 panicked about those who need me, 3 had major projects on the go, Loving my 4 moments, getting my artistic side out...staring out the window at the sea and sky... taking arty beach pics and being dramatic in poetry, writing n my diaries, dancing in the loft to Kate Bush, Lana del Rey, Tori Amos & Sinead O' Connor, 5 researching, not eating, hibernatiing, 6 having a panic attack over my (8 Husband) saying he's got this, he forgets the structure that's needed, but Loves to protect, cook, instanty made himself the one who leaves the bubble for anything...So I'm safe and he can look after this chameleon soul who's core avoidances are conflict terror and rage vs the 8's Fear and Anger. 7 Missed experiences that never meet the picture in m head anyway...Ahhh 9, 'I am a rock, I am an Island', Calm your Farm people & Wake me when it's over - Still got a few Netflix series to watch n bed Zzzzzz.
