I think Eno may be manipulating the drum beat, creating stutters/effects in the rhythm with that crazy device, possibly. You never with Eno, crazy guy. Great Song also.

Brian, I have no means to know if this will get through to you as a message, but. When I first heard this track it reminded me of the 24 track master tape I gifted to the Hammersmith Job Centre. It was my works tape from PWL on Ampex 456. I could not ignore the similarities of rhythm and chord. I was shocked and amazed by what had been made of it. Even more odd is the fact that we had met and you did not know that the tape was from me. My name is Robert and the last time we spoke was in Tescos Cromwell Road. We had good discussion at a flat in cromwell Road, I never realized who you were. I'm more than privileged that you should take my demo and amplify it. The original was made on Fairlight and Linn 9000 in my downtime, but you hit the nail on the head with your rendition. I am pleased Brian. We spoke about music at Bromptons, and we met.

I am very disappointed with both the Eno/Hyde albums. You would think that such an interesting combination would produce something outstanding. But the reality is they have made some really dull music. I have tried to listen a few times, but nothing grabs me. Such a pity.

A bit boring actually!

I think "Born Slippy" is a dreadful piece of irritating nonsense. Conversely, I think that "Daddy's Car" is dreamily brilliant. Hooray for age and wisdom. Maybe.
