**UPDATE** I CAN CONFIRM.... Shroud arrows DO NOT... proc orbs... so keep the build as is... was a good idea though :/ ALSO i forgot to mention craft a bunch of cheap wood arrows to use against the plants u can one shot them even with wood arrows so no point in wasting ur iron arrows while ur farming for basic mats. Lastly remove the 1 point in INT on the battlemage tree we can get to blink from evade attack and use that extra point to add an extra Endurance point in the beastmaster tree. its a better use of that point for the build. ive updated the cheat sheet to match all these changes :) Any feedback on the build let me know!
Great video! 1) Wouldn't you be further ahead if you saved all the perk points for the food consumables and sweets by swapping out the perk that drops the orbs that grant you 30% more effect. So you would be instantly filling your health, mana, stamina rapidly not to mention that hitting the groups of enemies with shroud arrows and stunning them kept giving you the critical state on them so they would be dropping insanely often with only a few arrows investment? 2) I realize you've done 3 mage/wizard builds, but could you come up with a build designed for coop where your using ALL the eternal spells and are effective healer as well, a sort of Master Mage that is designed so if you join a coop game and someone's health is low you can activate one of the two healing spells to help your teammates or if things are getting hairy you could pop the eternal light spell to give your teammate(s) a moment of breathing room. Would you at the very least think about doing a build or even just brainstorm what you would do for the build even if its not a true character build?¿
You can convert the int point into strength in the tank tree... blink can be reached from evade attack without the need of that one int point :) besides of that its a very good built :)
Can it tank a Cactus or survive falling in a spike pit? Oh that is right the developers disabled those damage sources and hid all the lava behind the shroud. But its not actually real Lava its just red glowing no no foliage. They sure try hard to get that E ESRB rating protecting all us gamers from any challenge we might face.
@@Lava-pe6wu great ideas I’ll see what I can do. As for the orbs I’ll have to look again but I think they only spawn on a magical critical hit and bows aren’t considered magical so didn’t think it would work but if it does that’s potentially risky a rly good idea
Takes days to get one that works but that’s what it take to call it best. I try literally every possible combination and see what actually works before I show it off lol I can’t count how many builds Ive seen with people running magic dmg boost perks thinking it works on bows…smh such a waste
22:32 Quick method for picking up and placing down the water well. 1. Before you pick up the well, make sure the empty hotbar isn't highlighted. 2. Now pickup the well and it will be placed in the empty hotbar instead of going into your inventory.
After this video, I switched to this build because it became easier to craft arrows after the last patch. My god. The game was incredibly enjoyable. I'm only level 18 but I'm incredibly strong. I can fight even level 30 enemies very easily. Thanks so much, great video!

The new patch kinda buffed the arrow crafting/farming: • Reduced the amount of twigs needed to craft arrows. • Increased the yield of twigs from grown bushes. • Increased the yield of feathers from their sources.
yeah they shit on pretty much every build i made lol but fear not im testing and working on some new ones that includes the best of the best after this new patch. so hang tight might be a couple more days. gunna start with mage as well.
Yes I now realilze after trying a staff build, that I had more survivability via arrows...now I know more and going back to play a bow build via ur shroud arrows promotion. tyvm
its to future proof the build for later content. we are only seeing 1/4th of the map right now. this builds purpose was to still be able to one shot everything currently in the game but have great survivability for new stuff moving forward. @@Fluxdotexe
it is i had a blast with it honestly and was very surprised at how good it actually was now they just need to fix the magic damage perks and backstab perks to work with bows and it will be even better!
tbh chain reaction from assassin should be worked into the shell shock node, or be across from it and work with any arrow, causing it to have the same effect. Then they should have a new capstone making you have a chance to refund arrows, or hell... allow you to shoot mana arrows scaling with dex ending up equal to the otherwise best arrow at high dex. Something at least... Melee also needs some super/hyper armor, more stagger power against enemies and the green bois needs to be more affected by parry, can't even get a twohander attack into their stun window.
This looks way more fun than the mage gameplay . I have the equipment so i use this build until they buff melee combat and give us a way to interrupt melee attacks with our own.

Nice build! Definitely going to try it out. Also, this is the first time I see Bee Sting in action and it just looks like hacks. Hahaha. Gotta love how busted it looks.
Normally people think bee sting is useless because ur normally shoot at enemies straight on. But with the aoe style ammo in this build being able to shoot matrix style over enemies heads and place the arrows perfectly in the middle of big packs is super helpful
I hope they balance this game soon. Melee is basically unplayable at this point unless you hate yourself. Wizard is so OP that you really are gimping yourself if you play anything else. Regardless, your builds are amazing. People won't make a better warrior, hunter, or wizard than what you have released.

I was looking forward to playing this class, but after seeing all the hoops you had to jump through to make the arrows and the food, this is just a few to many steps for me personally to have to work at, I would rather the devs have put the different types of arrows needed for this class in creates or treasure boxes and pull them out of dead enemies would make this a better choice for getting the different arrows instead of all the crafting required, but that's just me , some times farming gets to be to tedious and to time consuming and I end up feeling frustrated and a bit stressed and find myself going and playing other games, which is to bad because this is a really great game
I definitely agree that arrow recovery would be amazing. Even if it was a 50/50 chance the arrow broke on trying to recover it, and instead you only got the arrow head, or the "twig" resource back as a result
either that or just change perks like multishot to just shoot multiple arrows but have it still only cost 1 arrow for that shot. consider them magic arrows or something@@MattWeber

I noticed you mine your twigs? Just plant the plant shrubs! They're just plant fiber to make. I craft them in the 100's and have never ever ever ran out of twigs since doing so.
Yeah this is true but u need allot of room and hundreds of planted shrubs for that to be effective. But it is another viable option for sure if u have the space
Twigs, mushrooms, strawberries... why pick them up when they're so easy to grow, twigs especially. After the recent updates I'm looking into bow/dagger build and yeah... Explosive arrows are dumb still
early i focus on ranger tree cuz that has allot of dexterity for more ranged dmg and access to multishot, then i switch over and put a few points in constitution for more health. once u rank up more then u can fill out the rest to round out the build for late game.
Thanks for the helpful video! I'm trying to track down the Ring of Health, Ring of Stamina, Ignited Bow and Shadowbane by farming an encrusted gold chest but no luck so far. Do any of these only spawn in certain areas/bosses?
ignited weapons typically only spawn in sun temple chests, as for the special rings its luck rly. i've gotten some in golden shroud chests, and one in a sun temple chest
Btw i think you missing food piece in dex department. Go to lab or alchemy station (i dont remember wich one) and craft spiece it shuld unlock last soup
Out of curiosity, would the extra shroud damage in the magic tree benefit this build have you tested that out? Seems like if it does its more beneficial to go that route than the skill points in the warrior tree. Love the build though, gonna give it a go! Thank you.
ive build my archer build now thanks to this vid ... and even though theres good farm spots in the vid... i still feel like for playing the game, im like 70% farming and 30% playing ... lol i love archery but they should make it so that u either lose less arrows, either can get some back of the corpses ...
@@Glitchiz i am getting decently high amounts lol, i make like 3k arrows then go around doing quests etc ... but by the time i have all the materials i really feel like i did more farming then whatever else XD dont get me wrong, archery is alot of fun in this game... my favourite even... but it makes me consider going mage ...
mage is by far the easiest but archer imo is the most fun lol. that being said also try clearing out the farthest east sun temple and break every pt u find u get tons of arrows. im curious about testing 1 hour farming that temple as opposed to 1 hour farming materials normally how much difference it is lol.@@screaminsilence81
curious is farming the sun temple to the east is faster for getting iron arrows than farming materials normally. may have to do that test.@@screaminsilence81
wouldn't you be better off using either Forsaken or Banebringer for your choice of bows? both have increased shroud damage and still have that faster draw speed
Curious why you pick the Deadeye boots over the Eagle Eye Boots. Eagle Eye has -350 Stamina Regeneration Delay, but a +7 Stamina Regen. Is the delay that critical?
the -700 stamina delay is much more helpful then flat stamina regen. when u have the stamina there's no issue the issue is when u run out completely. which is when the -700 delay comes in handy. u almost instantly start refilling stamina very quickly so ur never completely out and never drop combos or get caught, plus the resistance at that point doesn't matter because we are already at our cap so it means nothing. u want better perks instead.
heads up they might have fixed the infinite gliding glitch i remember hearing something about getting extra height from gliding but wasnt paying much attention since i havent played
Surprisingly no. It only has two dmg perks as opposed to ignited bows 3 dmg perks I tested both and ignited always did more base dmg even against the brutes that were weak to shroud. So that’s why I only use that bow for healing
It feels a little pointless to go for a build that basically necessitates beating all the available content in the game just to complete the build in the first place, but I know you're just doing this for the fun of min-maxing. Hopefully they will add new zones and content soon enough that Kindlewastes-level builds like this will still be effective and useful for whatever story and exploration progression comes next.
the point of all my end game builds are for future content readiness. the build is still great early game u just wont have 100% of the perks the key thing is that stun perk if u focus that first the rest just make the arrows stronger.
@@GlitchizFair enough, though if you don't mind a constructive counterpoint to that, you can't really get anything out of the stun perk without at least having the AoE shroud arrows, correct? And you can't make those in quantity without steady access to feathers, which will be when you've crossed the Nomad Highlands and can start shooting down the Kindlewastes vultures in good numbers. You can get some feathers in the Highlands but that's either from rare loot drops or rare ground chickens if you can catch them. So the "early game" where the build is great is mainly the Kindlewastes. Anyway, thanks for the reply and good luck.
to counter your counter...... shroud arrows don't require feathers to craft which is why they are so good. all u need is twigs, goo, and shroud sacks all of which can be farmed in bulk in the very first zone of the game... so yeah stun perk is still very important to take early.
@@GlitchizHmm, I must have been thinking of the fossilized bone arrows (needing feathers) which I was also looking at recently. I wouldn't call Revelwood the very first zone of the game but it is well before Kindlewastes so you still have a point.

its honestly an endgame build but the key perks are the beesting perk and the stun perk can't remember the name armor and stuff shouldnt be a huge issue cuz your killing things from afar. plus all the materials required can be found in the first two zones so its still doable. work on the defensive stuff later. if the dmg is there u should be able to drop everything before it gets to you.
I’m curious if shroud arrows work on the wyvern I would think it would but curious if it’s considered a shroud enemy or not I forgot to test that lol. Let me know how it goes!
@@Glitchiz I wondered the same, but I don't think they do. I get overwhelmed and don't notice details during the fight, probably should be recording it to watch later. About to try again with poison arrows instead. I'm having a hard time with the fight mechanics and got frustrated with it last night, so trying again today.
i mean if u see any dmg numbers at all when fireing the arrows that means its working normally enemies in the shroud take zero dmg from the shots.@@venerablev4835
@@Glitchiz seems to me poison is better choice, at least for the wispwyvern fight. I finally made it at level 16, but I had max level armor and a bow. I skipped the Bee sting perk and took two more points of constitution, and went straight up Ranger tree to Ranger, got Shellshock and double jump. Shroud arrows as you would expect, didn't affect the bugs, and "ineffective" kept flashing when you hit wisp with them. Poison seemed to help speed along the boss damage better, an I finally got where i could manage the bugs better while keeping moving and interrupting him more. Thanks for the advice. 07
I didn’t lol that tree was about 50 screenshots that I manually stitched together and painted out seems for hours on end in photoshop to make it look good myself lol. I made it for that exact reason. You can’t zoom out in game so I did it for everyone until they fix there damn game lol

For the love of my life - how did you find 4 fricking legendary bows? I have 300 hours in and I have found 3 (in words: THREE) legendary bows. During the last say 50 hours (since fell commander) I have found NONE.
i think it is :/ from what others are telling me. ill have to get in there and start doing some testing. i plan to make new "best: builds for every class after i get in and test everything.
there is a physical resistance and armor cap in this game (about 60-65% dmg mitigation). AKA a point at which u have so much armor that no matter how much more u put on the highest lvl enemies in the game still do the exact same amount of dmg. u don't always want to put the highest armor or resist gear on because eventually it stops giving u any additional dmg resistance so there's no point. ur better off taking lower resist armor that may have better perks instead.
Swap the ring of health (50 health + 4 regen) for ring of the ancients (+1 all main stats). +1 Constitution = 50 health. That + 4 regen is negligible with a health pool that large.
farming everything at home is more efficient if u have the space but certain areas like the ones i pointed out have SO MANY that u can do one run and collect all u need for several stack of food without having to worry about planting them.
Where can you find the ring of health. Best one I have currently is 2 health regen and +30 health. Haven’t seen the one in your video. Also haven’t seen the stir fried vegetables recipe. How did you use lock that? Thanks
poison arrows and their base ( iron, copper whatever) do the same damage... the game claims to have an additional poison tick with the poison arrow following but in my game no damage is ever done after, i will shot a single poison arrow and wait and wait and wait and not ticks of damage occur, i will shot the same base arrow (normally iron ) and it will do the same damage with no tick just like the poison arrow... i have tested this in a server hosted by my friend as well as one i made by myself and same result.. anyone actually see poison ticks on any mobs ever?
@@Glitchiz oh heck, I missed that part. Definitely caught the "works with stun perk". Weird too... Cus I tested it myself a week back and it didn't SEEM to work so I just totally ignored it. But using it again and now ya, it's stupid effective. Though ... They don't always seem to get stunned though, running out of the damage cloud but it's only a few times that happens. How would you suggest handling fell enemies with this build? Especially the sickle throwing boss and the heavily armored tower shield bastards? Seems to hard counter just basic physical arrows the both of em
@@rocovailo2862 that’s the one downside. The reapers ur better off scouting for and using the slower heavy hitting bow and snipe them as far away as u can lol
@@Glitchiz reapers were the enemy that made me immediately spec into the "extra damage vs flying enemies* perk. I thought that one unnecessary since the few flyers in the game weren't that beefy. Boi was it a shock to randomly run into one thinking it was a normal flying fell and not a boss >.> (Ran into one that isn't the one you're tasked with killing In a quest) Oh, one last question: Are poison arrows worth crafting? If I understand how they work, they only do a weak poison damage to specifically the animal creatures. The ones that can be passive to you with the beast master perk. I have em if I got em, but I couldn't tell if they really had any impact even when fighting the animals
its slightly higher on animals and those dogs and stuff but thats pretty much it, im sure they do a bit more against the vulchan enemies to. so its not 100% necesary to upgrade them i just know that if u have the time those poison sacks and sulfuer are super easy to farm and it doesnt require any extra feathers, so if that mats are there why not just upgrade them. least thats my perspective@@rocovailo2862

Why you do this to me ?? 🤣 Everytime when i want do vid my warrior build you come with something like that and i need to log game and change half of build 🤣🤣🤣
they dont which is why i didn't choose them. they are very specific with there wording which is why allot of people assumed the stun perk wouldn't work but if u look closely stun perk says "ranged explosives" while the other perks specifically say "exploding arrows"

@@Glitchiz yea😂 ur build indeed a lil bit broken coz its a perma stun for all non shroud monsters lol My frd did test the acid bite and the dmg did seems bk to a lil bit normal😂
@@Glitchiz rangers head shot deals more and now has back dmg, seems the game is starting to divide class job more clearly, melee for tank, mage for aoe and range for single dps
@@GlitchizOne thing I did notice playing the shroud hunter in this patch is I keep getting tick after tick of backstab damage a lot of the time. Trying to figure out why it keeps happening so I can line it up to be consistent maybe, and ornate wood bow might become more useful.
