Ensiferum - LAI LAI HEI 

12 years later. I still remember and can pronounce every Finnish word to perfection without understanding a single one of them.

If anyone is wondering why this sounds so much like Wintersun, it's because Jari Mäenpää was still a member of Ensiferum then. The new stuff isn't bad but it lacks a lot of the charm of Ensiferum's early work.

"most of Finland was captured by Vikings" I think you should read again... Not to be mean, just saying. Vikings did not live here and they were also slayed by the finns, not only other way around. For example at Nokia, Jaarl Freygeir was killed in the battle and 170 of he's 200 ships were sinked. Finns were not bad warriors against Vikings neither. That heritage later continued in Swedish army Hakkapeliitta troops and against Red Army 1939-1945. These merits makes us proud non-viking warriors.

While i like every of Ensiferums song, Lai Lai Hei is the one i am always coming back to. It's just epic ... just great

Scandinavian bands are really the best. Too bad I'm from a tiny African island. :( But I managed to get to see Opeth, Ensiferum and Amon Amarth live though, which is really awesome. I guess I can now die in peace. :)

Ensiferum is a great band, and every greatband has it's own sound, but if you like this, you should try Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow, Tyr, Eluveitie, Amon Amarth, Summoning, Heidevolk, Manegarm, Thyrfing, Svartsot, Finntroll,... and perhaps Alestorm, Alestorm is not really pagan but pirate metal =D sounds great ^^
