I watched them play live. They blew me away. This particular song made me eat my own arm. I dont know what I mean by that but I know it was incredible!
I believe that the description of the video says everything! It describes feelings and the way the uploader writes, brings a feeling of relief to listeners making us to carry on....
this is what i call a masterpiece, metal and histories from beyond, that's whath metal it's all about, still alive & survived the rest of this world existence.
No matter if i am sad, depressed, angry, happy, excited or in any other mood, the feeling i get when i listen to my favourite band remains mutual. When i listen to Ensiferum, i get a feeling of heroism, enlightenment, power.. very uplifting emotions... I don't know about you guys..maybe you have just come across the band yourselves.. for me Ensiferum are more than my favourite band.. they are my idols that will never be forgotten! May metal live on forever! stay true!
Disciplined formations, overlapping shields, brother protecting brother, life and breath, death and pain all existing together with the best and worst of the organic and material. Beautiful.
This was amazing live in SF last night... and who came on after... but Finntroll... damn that was the best metal show ever, Ensiferum and Finntroll together = best show of 2011

One of my favorite songs ever, and ofc, one of my favorite bands ever ! I wish that I'm from Finland, there are many amazing bands (ensiferum, wintersun, norther...) Jari & Petri 4life!
He'd just run to mordor, slay every orc on the way and finish the journey in a day. That's 10 minutes of movie instead of the 12 hours extended edition indeed. ^^
Saw them live on Sunday night, they were backing up Children Of Bodom and Amon Amarth, Ensiferum blew them both out of the water. Into battle and Twilight Tavern were great live.
I was extremely surprised when I asked my friend if there were any finnish metal bands themed around finnish mythology, I was even more surprised when he said yes and introduced me to ensiferum. Then I discovered a whole new amazing genre of music
