this was the first video to go on my favorites list, it is also the very song that got me into viking style, celtic style music, as well as the heavier areas of metal. this song is a true masterpiece, it will forever be my favorite ensiferum song. and this will always be one of my favorite videos.
The most epic song ever, meets the most epic movie ever. Together they form some sort of hyper-epic entity that will smother us all in a deep, inescapable blanket of pure and other worldly, 100% epic concentrate. That was very well made.

This song is also my favorite. Great rhythm and I love the guitar. It builds up from beginning to end. Ensiferum is the greatest. :] Also, LOTR are the only books i have ever read. And i read them before the movies.
That was very well made. I am considering making some LotR videos, and I was also considering using this song. But seeing this video has made me reconsider, I wouldn't dare encroach on your territory, this was just fantastic. Cheers!
Yes. I like how they are called back home. Although Ensiferum both sounds nice and has a wonderful meaning, Enska is friendlier... makes them feel a lot closer, which they do to me at this point. When I went to their concert it felt like watching friends on stage.^^
Yes you're right, Ensiferum did great songs...it's been very difficult to choose between Battle Song, Into Battle, Victory Songs and all the other masterpieces. I think treacherous gods is so epic as LOTR!!!
great song, great movies, great synchronization. My only complaint is, you claim this is your favourite Ensiferum song. How can you think this is better than "Victory Song" or "Into Battle"?

This my friends is the reason They made Vikeing metal, CAUSE Badazz Mofos Like us Play it wile we are killing random Shiz wether it be CoD or WoW or BF3, We Own like hell listening to it
the intro to the song is on par with ensiferum's other songs, but the rest of the song is kind of lacking in quality, where as Victory Song is amazing all the way through.
