most people find the pasts hard because of two things. #1 you cant get lucky and have op items, no first floor black chests here and #2 typically they go in blind and dont have the time or concentration to figure out attack patterns. I used to take several hits on bullet king (1st floor boss) when i used a low dps weapon like the starters but after i learned the attack patterns even with base gear i can flawless it fairly reliably. bullet hell games are all about knowing where to be and when.

Wall is surprisingly easy with any fire immunity item (at least for me, the only attack that really bothers me is the fire one)

The only past that felt difficult to me was the Bullet’s- the robot’s past wasn’t hard- it was just getting there lol

I think it's best that it's that way, getting to that point alone is horrible the first 150 playthroughs, only to have it be glitched lich hard and get stuck once again? I love hard games, but man, does the gungeon kick my ass, it is NOT kind to completionists

tbh i find junkan's 2nd last level to be better than max level, simply because he can bail you out with short range blanks, and he can function as a sacrifice if you die giving you a 2nd chance, but at max level he just shoots stuff and loses those two abilities.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I find Enter the Gungeon to be a game where it takes XYZ time to click and then it gets easier. A big thing for me was using cover. One you start using things like that, the difficulty should go down by a lot.

+The Sole Survivor I just beat the game the first time and checked out this video cus I wasn't really sure what to make of the ending (I did marine also), did he change his past now by fighting instead of running? That's what I assume he did originally. Anyways, it took me 29 hours to get this far, which is like 2-3 hours less than it took me to beat nuclear throne the first time too, so it definitely isn't something you can count on managing in like the first 15 hours of play. You'll get more and more used to being in sticky situations, and with blanks in this game you actually have 2 free mistakes every floor, if you remember to use them (which you really really should. Also, once you have done the first few floors often enough, you should be able to get health ups by no-hitting bosses consistently. Oh, also buy all the health-up items you can so you have a higher chance of finding one, and try to keep a good weapon at high ammo so you can kill bosses faster.

No problem, glad to hear they help. I agree it's frustrating to die in the past, but the pasts are generally pretty easy. At least you only have to beat them once and then you get to face the horrors of bullet hell.

Computer-Monster hardest one for me back on the day was the stupid Pilot, redid that shit like 3-4 times... plus bullet past seemed easy to me, its just about waiting and being patient enough

@@rmartinlopez98 same for me, tho i did it first try.It made you felt intimidated in multiple ways:being extremeley small, doing not so much dmg, the boss being gigantic and I didnt realize you can dodge roll until i almost finished the fight.

I actually gathered all the ingredients for the bullet in one run..

+Justin Maxfield "I saw you built the bullet and killed the hunters past first." Correct. "Do you need to collect all 4 items again to reforge another bullet to kill another characters past?" Yes/No. No you don't need to collect the four items again. Once you've given a piece to the blacksmith it will stop spawning (including the rooms they're found in). However, you do need to talk to the blacksmith and obtain a new bullet on each play through. So you can't get the four parts, kill the boss and then get the true end. You need to get the four parts, find the blacksmith, get the bullet and then kill the boss.

The negative options are what all the characters except for the Bullet did in their past. Like the "run to the pods" option is what the Marine did but he felt really guilty that he let his friends and co workers die so he came to the gungeon to change the past so he could choose the other option which is to go save his colleagues. The main reason I said other than the Bullet is because in his past Blasphemy is wooden and not steel like it is when you play as him in the gungeon and once you kill the boss of the Bullet's Past Blasphemy upgrades into the form that you actually use it as so if he never killed Cannon then Blasphemy should have never been upgraded but when you play as him it is upgraded which means he already killed Cannon so he has to have some ulterior motive for coming into the Gungeon. Because what's the point in going back in time to literally do the same thing that you already did.

Try and gain a better skill at dodging and weaving. They will help you significantly more than good weapons.

Make sure you do the two secret levels to get as many guns and pickups as possible !

Sounds like a Dandori Issue Seriously, the whole point of this game is luck and experience. Try looking up a guide for the bosses before you fight them.

You don't have to build the bullet again. Just make sure to visit the blacksmith, she will always give you the bullet.

I usually run around in a big circle when fighting the dreadnought and that works most of the time. As for the ammoconda I just learned his bullet patterns and started to dodge and weave through them kill the enemy that the ammoconda eats I think that buffs him and makes him go slightly faster. It takes a lot of practice and patience but I am able to get to the Hollow consistently now and have gone to the Forge once or twice still a huge newbie

u need to made the bullet search all around chamber 5 and she tells u want u need to give her to craft the bullet its a one time thing

+Nathan Drake I really don't get where the "auto-aim" stuff comes from. I mean, you can clearly see from the video itself, I am running this on the PlayStation 4, so you're basically suggesting I somehow have a auto-aim bot/program/whatever on the PlayStation 4. I also uploaded this video the day after the game came out, so I would have to both obtain/make an auto-aim like program within a day and have it usable on the PS4. Maybe this is possible, but I don't see it.

Uh, I likely could've beat the first five floors back when I played this hardcore eight months ago, but now a days I don't know. Though I doubt I could've beat bullet hell with the starting gun without a lot of practice and some luck. Maybe I'll try it when I pick Enter the Gungeon up again with the supply update.

The best advice I can give you is to do the following five things. 1) Learn maps. Even though the game is random, the rooms, at least in the pre-supply drop version, had set spawns. This might be hard to explain, but if a room looks familiar, it should spawn the same enemies, in the same order, every time. This makes it easier to plan, predict and overcome. 2) Figure out how enemies attack. Most problems stem from a lack of understanding. Once you how how everything acts and behaves, you can prioritize the correct targets and know what to look out for. 3) Use environments to your advantage. A lot of times I would hand out near corners and peak out to defeat enemies. It works well if you can manage enemies. 4) Get good with the starting weapon. You can never predict what your run will be like, but you're guaranteed, if nothing else, to always have that weapon on you. It also helps to start with the Hunter, since she is, in my opinion, the easiest character. 5) Long term choices are better than short term ones. This will take some mastery, but the idea is to make choices that have obvious benefits throughout the game over small ones that might help you now. For instance, if you're buying a lot of armor, it's likely better to buy keys to get better weapons that make surviving easier. In the end, this really boils down to figuring out what works for you and memorizing moves. Thankfully, the bosses are very predictable and most enemies are pretty obvious/easy to deal with.
