I've had many friends ask me why I want to spend a considerable amount of money on a knife, just to go out and enjoy bushcraft in and camping out alone....They couldn't understand when I explained to them, no matter how I tried. Then I show them the process that goes into a Jacklore, the love and care that is put into the build and the craftsmanship, time, money that equipment costs, the electricity and the time evolved in the whole process...via your videos. They are now understanding a whole lot better just how personal a Jacklore knife is to me and why I want one so much. Thank you Sandy for the amazing videos and the effort you put into each of these videos. Best wishes - Steve
Watching this video it really hits home the amount of work that goes into making one of your great knives! I’m very lucky to own one. I love your videos Sandy!
Really interesting watching how you work Sandy and how it differs from my build process. I always learn thank you. Without you, Lee, Dell, Jason and Scott I'm not sure I would have bothered starting to make knives.
BRAVO! Huge work. Lot of things to do with a knife. I wonder if someone still finds it unclear. Making this video, lot of takes, cuts! Sandi, thank You! Atb, Osmo, puukko knife hobbiest from Finland
Hi Sandy I am watching all your vidieos, you are an old school craftsman, the love and care you put into the knife reflects, I hope to own one of your beauties in the future. I live in Australia and time difference makes it hard to keep up with UK. Anyway thank you sir for the inspiration 🙏❤️👌
Hi Sandy. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video. Your artistry, the background music it was perfection. Please keep them coming long and often. Best wishes....Bob
As an ex British Steel Instrument Tech. (South Bank Coke Ovens) where Belling stoves were standard issue along with using a PID unit for the control of temperature I had to give you a thumbs up! Previously watched a few of your videos and well impressed with both your skills with machinery and the finished product. Carry on the good work (subscribed), cheers.
Dude. Some of your camera work and editing makes me think of old psychedelic music videos. Or The Wall the movie. Its nice to see an old head doing it big and living his joy.
Yet again you’ve introduced me to something I knew nothing about. Absolutely fascinating film to watch. Must be so satisfying to be able to produce such a beautiful thing. Thanks for sharing Sandy.
Awsome video Sandy... Once again your knives just blow me away..... But I'll keep hoping and praying...... One day I'll have my own Jacklore...... Regards Kim........Australia.

Never heard of masur birch, karalian birch it was called when I was young, learnt something new. Beautiful grain, beautiful build. Doo love to see the knives take shape.
I watched all the way through. Thank you Sir. English craftsmanship at its best, most ingenious and industrious. The Jacklore is now a recognisable benchmark standard globally.
Beautiful Work. A true Craftsman enjoying his work. I would love to have and be able to use your skills and machinery. Please keep posting your work and video diaries. You sir are a credit to yourself, family friends and Great Britain. 👍🏻😀👍🏻
Thanks Sandy for taking the time to show the care you take in making your knives. My friend Shane, Isle of Wight bushcraft, just took delivery of one of your knives and he looks like he loves having it in his kit. They look amazing and hopefully at some point I will also be lucky enough to be the proud owner of one of your fine products, so will keep an eye on the website and hopefully I will be at the right place at the right time. Keep up the good work. Kindest regards. Mark.
a bit of interest... Sandy that was the best shop film I have ever seen on youtube. I am a bit partial to your work but the film it's self was a real work of art. The mark of a true master knife builder is to always try to improve processes. Well after watching intently for a few years now I can say you are a true master at your craft in my eyes. Bravo my good man! Hope you get out for another adventure soon Take care -Chris
Really enjoyed watching this vid Sandy. I've been following your channel for a while now but so far have seen some of the knife making process but all out of order. This has really put everything into perspective. Long may you carry on this artisanship.

Not sure I have ever watched an entire 30 minute video on here. This was mesmerizing. Always wondered what went into a handmade knife, and I feel I better understand it now. Many thanks for the incredible amount of effort that went into sharing this.

Hi Sandy, as always great skills my friend, shows how much time and effort you put into each and every knife. I know the workshop has expanded since my visit but amazing the work you turn out from it. All the best
I thought you had professional help with the video but you mentioned to Noel Adams that done it yourself. Very well done. Interesting and entertaining.
You are without doubt a Master Craftsman with an attention to detail that takes custom to a collectors level, but the great thing is your knives and sheaths are more than capable of working hard for a living like any great tool should be able to do. Thanks for sharing your process on this knife build it was fantastic.
Sandy I absolutely loved this video. The amount of craftsman ship in these knives blows my mind. It seems like there is a lot of opportunities to make mistakes, but in sure that keeps it exciting.
Great presentation Sandy, Thanks for sharing your excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail with us.I could watch you work all day long. Looks a bit chilly in your workshop at the moment. Good to see the extension in motion. ATB from Australia...
Dear Sandy, Rapture from beginning to end. I'm so in awe of your skills but even more in awe of your pure-hearted dedication to perfection. I would liken it to a zen master. I am content to humbly sit at your feet and learn. Just stunning. Thank you so much for this delightful video. I enjoyed every second. (And nice music, too). All the best, Rob
Wow Sandy. I have no words to say all I want to say about your knifes and your craftmanship. My english is simply not good enough but as my daughters would say, they are simply awsome. My wife said she would give me one for Christmas so I guess I'll be looking daily on your webpage to see if you have one for sale. Takk care, regards from Iceland, Ragnar.
This is an intriguing video and you have such finesse, skill and precision. Have been checking out your Wiltshire Man videos as well and can see how your skills translates into your hunting, shooting and bushcraft pursuits.
