This guy is a gem, he not only knows Srinagar and it's problems , but also can get to solving them , and seems capable of micro and macro management of projects. We need more people like him in other cities. 10 years ago we never expected to see that massive development and positivity in Kashmir. Absolutely marvelous work by Modi & govt. This heartwarming and I'm extremely happy for Kashmiris. Now they can breath easily. Kudos to local public also, they understand what's in their favour and who can support them

We had been to kashmir in March 2023 and saw the development going on in Kashmir... it was overwhelming to see the people feel happy with ongoing development there and I feel very happy for our Kashmiri brothers and sisters !!

@Dacroy When India got Commonwealth Games there were infrastructure project. When Qatar gets World Cup Football, there were infrastructure project. When Davos, Switzerland gets World Economic Forum meeting, Davos gets huge Economic benifit. Every State or Country welcome such program to be hosted in their city or Country. But probably you are from our neighbouring bankrupt Country where there is a huge unrest after Imran Khan arrest??
@Dacroy (1) A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was made president by Atal Ji. (2) Ustad Bismillah Khan had given highest civilian award of India Bharatratna by Atal Ji. (3) Under Present Government if we see Government Report and Ground Report Muslims get highest Government beneficiary like House, Toilet, Scholarship etc. But if you see Sachar Committee Report on Minority. The development of Minority under so called secular parties were pathetic? (4) Kashmiri People earlier had thrown stones to Army but now there are reports that people are slowly shown corporation with Army. People have seen visible development work there. Multiple all weather highways, Tunnels, Smart City Project, Upcoming Mega Malls etc.
He left IAS to fight election. He waw jailed, and all by BJP central government. Then BJP removed article 370 and then reinstated him back as IAS and made him CEO- Srinagar Smart City. He fought a lot for the rights of Kasmiri people.
I have heard of him resigning from IAS and tried his hand in elections. Came back again to Aministrative Service to give off his best to the Country. That’s Wonderful ! Hope He contributes his intellect in the service of our country.
@@peddadanarasingarao9957 He did that as I mentioned above but then article 370 was removed. He was canvassing against BJP X Mufti govt and was in detention for months.

Will you give the leadership to someone who has phd and is known to be skilled but doesn't have any idea of ground reality and has only studyes foreign case studies. Or to someone who is not as educated as him eg - 12 pass and knows ground reality and has smarter people around him who can make difference.

Large Car parking facilities should be located at different points in the outskirts of the city with frequent connecting electric bus or metro facilities to the city centre main rail station air port and main attractions. In this way by park and ride facilities air and noise pollution will be minimised in Srinagar
