Definitely one of the heaviest metal songs, that intro is death incarnate lol ⚰️ Wore out my batteries rewinding this track!!! Lol Very different then Wolverine Blues. W.blues is in my all time favorite albums, every song is a masterpiece. I suck your blood!!!!!!!
Perhaps the greatest song from Entombed and one of the greatest metal songs like ever. I had Clandestine vinyl back in the day and listened it like crazy. I’m not a metalhead per se nowadays, but this is still fucking awesome!
Most people know Nicke Andersson sang on the album, while Johnny Dordevic was originally credited. However, there is actually a small section sung by Johnny on this track. "I just wanna die!" at 2.36 and the scream at 2.50.
@@kshvedoff9348 Because I was in the band just before this, wrote several lyrics for the band and was in the studio when "Clandestine" was recorded. I am Orvar Safstrom, vocalist on "Crawl".
@@disembodiedspirits wauu...thanks for info. This is something I also did not know about the Crawl. Even though i recall I had a pirate-copied cassette with this EP (sorry for confession with my wrongdoing) back in my teenage days. May I ask you, what was the reason for LG Petrov to quit the band right after LHP release? Was there just some fallout between band members?
I bought Left Hand Path based on the album art in 1992, and absolutely loved it as I was into heavy and death metal at the time(I was 16), and then I bought Clandestine shortly afterwards, and was blown away! It was my favourite album in 1992
I just realized how similar this album artwork layout is to Dismember's Like An Everflowing Stream's artwork. I guess it makes sense, since this era of Swedish death sounds like a perfect flowing stream of sick HM-2 buzzsaw guitar riffs.
Used to listen to this album from the then-brand new 4-speaker sound system with enough volume that our neighbor 400 meters away commented on the music.
That crazy laugh is from Twin Peaks, when Bob & evil Dale laugh inside the black lodge right? Sounds really similar. If it's not, it must be a homage to that, as Twin Peaks was already on tv, when this song came out.
Haha i was listening to this on my headphones and watchin a lil tv and i saw on tv this young kid tied up in a dungeon and this other guy in there with him and he put the kids cat in a bag and started smacking it against every wall haha and i was like thats not half as brutal as what im listening to right now lol
I agree, the drums are more present, the vocalist is a beast, the tone is crushing but has a very good definition, darker lyrics, the mixing is more spacious and CHAOS BREED is defently in my top 3 Entombed songs
Holy shit, this song rules. I never paid too much attention to this album but im in awe right now. Especially with this song. The cord progression and song structure is pretty incredible
Sadly enough I've always thought they were corny because all I heard was wolverine blues..... so I never gave them a chance....I just listened to Left Hand Path..🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😮🤯🤯😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
