Entrenched | The Last Sky Marshall | Alternate Lore and Theory 

These fracture storys would be awesome as an animated miniseries

I love the Eaglestrike Armor in Halo Infinite. It's design is great and I'm a sucker for Steampunk and Dieselpunk universes. Plus I love the story and the What If story.

I love the lore and the grimdark world of Eaglestrike I'd for sure play a game set in the world. Maybe you start as a Ben Carmine esk rookie, fresh and optimistic that the war will end. And by the end our character has watched so many of his friends die, and we watch the incompetence of command lead to the loss of everything we've gained since the start of the game. The final level could be a reach esk final stand, but instead of a message of hope like we got from Halsey. We get to watch as our "definitely not a spartan" falls to the ground, legs unable to bear the weight of the armor any longer. And as blood oozes from the fractures in our armor, and we watch our friends evacuation be destroyed we are unceremoniously executed by the enemy who then steps over our body and fades to black. The final scene could be another fresh rookie given our old characters armor visualizing that this meat grinder of a war will never truly end.

This is what the halo tv show should be about. The fractures but realized.

I don’t know if anyone else noticed but one of the names scratched into the wall was “Dubbo” Chips Dubbo exists. The UNSC has hope still.

The story was amazing, you feel the desperation of the humans in this war than the main halo lore.

God, I love this story! Having the rug pulled out at nearly every point of brevity is so exciting, and getting to choose what is the next step is such a fun way to tell this story!

Hearing all this lore about Entrenched really has me excited what next season’s Fractures will be

That’s a dam good story wish they did something like this with the yoroi event

This story and the armorset is very unique but in its current median was overshadowed because of the outcry for support in other areas of Halo Infinite. I hope for a return to this story in a more impactful way, possibly a collection of maps from the new forge that are aesthetically put together for people to experience the story immersively.

So, does anyone else wonder what the guns would be like? I mean, they might be similar to mainline UNSC weapons, but I would love to see the differences. Would they all still be bullpups, or maybe be made more like the Commando rifle? Maybe the sniper would be bolt-action as opposed to semi-automatic

Annoying how the only visual we get of this world is just the armor, I'd love to see a halo-themed airship and mutant covenant.

One thing I don't like is the use of electronic like features, the updating HUD for example. Couldn't they use analog fun like the map being projected on the visor through a microfilm, with navigation happening manually based on numeric coordinates?

The Wolfenstein armor doesn't jive with the futuristic weapons and the maps. It's cool but the juxtaposition doesn't work. This would be cool to have as an actual dlc and be able to play through

This is cool I will not deny that, but who is this for? who asked for all this lore not technically about halo? why is this where anybody’s creativity is focused instead of a story dlc and expanding lore relevant to the game we are actually playing?
