Man this is such a depressing and somber ending, as much as Jackdaw is built up as the antagonist once you end up with Pheonix man you start to like him and see that he actually cares about his team. Story is by no means some complex masterpiece, it's actually very simple but man it delivers the story well. It hurt a lot seeing Jackdaw blame himself for your death and the camera panning to pictures of you and the team hits you in the feels hard. Wonder what Jackdaw was doing during the 4 years.

I think this cutscene resembles the fact that chishato is done with entry point

Jackdaw still can’t get over the freelancers and roses death.

I still believe that the Freelancer ain't dead although like Cish said you can make up your own story in the EP Universe! But i do get a sense of that the Freelancer is mostly alive as a rogue (like a ronin really in feudal Japan), but workin as an bounty hunter like Vinnie for SIFT HEADS series as no one knows your criminal record and he'll meet Jack at some point and he'll be impressed to see em alive, ya were an underdog when joined Halcyon but came out to be the mastermind on your own, you outsmart everyone and surpassed em at the same time, this legendary. I always got the definition of insanity coming from Vaas , FAR CRY 3 as i always pulled the trigger, definition always echoed in ma brain each time I've DONE THAT. Those 2 games always made me emotional but they do have some strange similarities to em, always seen those game bonded together . But i seen the Freelancer doing nothin more but on a sports bike ridin into the night with a katana on his back bein an modern samurai and listenin to this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VKzWLUQizz8.html. The picture with Rose, has Wren in it. Maybe Jackdaw always was attached to Wren, even after he betrayed him, he probably though of Wren as his own son. Or he didn't have any other pictures of Rose.

I literally had a drop tear in a lego game

I still remember the times when there was no lore in the game yet. Just some simple missions that you did. After 4 great years, it’s come to this.

Trying not to cry is harder than it seems, especially when you are watching the sunset cutscene

My favorite game to this day. The nostalgia of first playing this with my friends… The lore, the characters, the music, the missions… And especially the ending. It was never meant to be satisfying but meant to send a message. Not everyone gets a happy ending, the good guys don’t always win. I don’t care if it’s a Roblox game, it’s storytelling and exception is phenomenal. It will always have a place in my heart.

What if some random sequences of events that the freelancers actually alive? Like we did not see him die, sure we didnt see him get to see the light of day too but what if he comes knocking on the door of jackdaw?

I'm a old guy on the comunity, so I will did my opinion: cish made a excelent work, but now she is burn out. The EP will problaly receive some good updates somes times, and i think more DLCs. Now the final: I think this is a poetic ending and also excelent. But i have some hope that will be a small EP chapter 2.
