Envoy Trailblazer low beam problem not coming on? Quick Fix Idea 

Saved the day sir. Thank you for this quick fix. My lowbeams decided to shut off today & I couldnt figure out why. So I checked YT & seen your video. Lucky for me, there is an almost identical Envoy in our local junk yard & I grabbed the headlight relay outta the junked Envoy & put in in my Envoy & low & behold I have low beams again. Needless to say I grabbed every available fuse out of the junked Envoy for future use. 😃👍

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! Checked the bulbs-NO luck. Checked the fuses-NO luck. Searched RU-vid & VIOLA!!! Replaced the $28 relay & We Are illuminated!!! Thanks Again. The mechanic would have charged close to $60-$75.

I checked all fuses, out of luck. Then I think of my trusty RU-vid and how much stuff I fixed, then I come across this video. I swapped the fan solid state with the headlamp just to see if it worked, and boom, low beams work. I'm just hoping slide100100 is wrong because 60 dollars seems like a whole lot, but then again electronic parts are very pricy. All in all, thank you sir for making me and allot of other RU-vidrs look like geniuses.

Yeah , My 2005 Envoys low beams are unexpectedly turning off at night. Haven't had the vehicle long , bought used. I'll try this thank you. . happens when I have the lights on the automatic drl/ahs mode.

Thanks man, my head lights stoped working yesterday, I changed the 46 and the headlight worked again, but strangely when I was checking the modules I removed both 45 and 46 but the fan was still working !!!!! I expected when I remove 45 the fan will stop !!!!! I've Trailblazer 2007 LT

There is a re-Call on this issue.

Thanks pal, I switched the relays and it worked, then the next day it stopped! i switched them back again and it worked again! meaning both relays are working. discovered that when turning off the 06 trailblazer and after hearing a clicking sound in the fuse box after seconds, the relay comes lose for some reason! any advice?

If you look at #37 it states on the cover for low beam but there is no relay there. Why have a location for a relay that does not exist.

Which is the cooling fan motor relay?? Its making my service engine light come on and I need to take my car for emissions.

I just had this issue. I had no power to the fuse and relay. I tried swapping the relays with relays that had the same number on the top. I didn't want to burn some relay i needed to get home. There is a Headlight Module upstream of the relay. it was defective. I experienced intermittent light shutoffs and they would comeback in a second or less. Finally they went off and did not turn on again. I had to drive 340 miles with high beams on from Central NY to South PA. I have this problem with my 03 trailblazer. I took it to a mechanic and the guy basically just switch the relays up .Told me the Hd relay that you just mention was like $60.00 Which im not sure but im looking at the part online and its no higher then 30 bucks. I haven't taken this truck back because i knew that was B.S and im glad i waited. Thanks to you and you tube i can basically do it myself. Do you have any suggestions about were should i get the part from ? ,Thank you
