My second uke was an Enya Nova concert. my fourth was an Enya Nova Tenor electro/acoustic. Looks like they put the Nova profile on a hardwood skeleton. Guess I better start saving up for #6.
Beautiful Uke! I love that blue. I would be happy with the acoustic version since my stage is the living room couch and my children are my audience. 😍💙
Enyas generally have a sweet sound. The narrow bodied tenors are almost concert size in the type of sound. This one seems to be the same. One nice feature is that it is not over the top styling unlike several higher end Enya models. Enya has always been in my opinion a reliable and consistently good brand. And Taimane is just brilliant.
This type of ukulele build is relatively new to me, I being more of a traditionalist. That being said, I did try an ukulele from a street vender in Honolulu a while back that was equipped with a similar onboard effects system and I really LIKED it. This looks like a very beautiful build and following the link to the Southern Ukulele Store, I'm surprised at the price. Seems lower that I expected by nearly half and feels like an excellent value!
Great revue Alex. I think this is such a beautiful Uke and possibly the nicest Enya have made. A lot of the Enya’s for me are a bit too blingy with the artwork on the fretboards which just doesn’t do it for me. Whereas this is more classy looking and aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the sound is beautiful. Love the moon too.
@@mcconlogue1898 I agree with you. I like the look of the feather. But this looks nice also and hard to beat the price. I think I saw that feather comes with a little nicer bag.
