Smarts has absolutely nothing to do with age lol 😅 other than his brain is fully developed when he became a vampire and Stefan and Caroline’s isn’t. He isn’t really that mean tbh he’s just honest lol he says it how it is lol it may sound mean but it isn’t he’s actually very sweet and kind (when he wants to be) 😅
I have no idea why people even hate him?? It makes no sense to me he constantly tries to do what he feels is the right thing to do he would sacrifice himself to save the people he loves he never gives up when everyone else has he’s completely hilarious and very honest and kind I see absolutely nothing wrong with him tbh. Yes sometimes he does some things that are unorthodox but he’s doing them for the right reasons sometimes he messes up and causes more issues but at least he tried when no one else would. @@lauraborabee903 I 100% agree yes he’s done some bad and questionable things but he tried to make it right throughout the rest of the show and most of the things he did were to protect the people he loved even if he didn’t like the person as much he still did things he helped and protected Bonnie multiple times before they became friends and she forgave him same with Caroline in the end she saw he was tryna change and she forgave him and they became friends he wasn’t a bad person j misunderstood
There’s so many parts I blacked out on I feel like tvd was three separate shows within itself like first being their high school experience then second being when they go to college and third being when Nina left the show after kai just offed joe at her wedding and I only really like the first one
i love that people are praising damon and everything but i firmly believe this is because he knows enzo like the back of his hand after the time they spent together

Say whatever u want but if u remove the whole Elena thing frm equation then Damon is a very strong, smart nd resourceful one. Figuring out Enzo's plan nd then convincing him to leave them alone wasn't that easy despite knowing him cuz Enzo really was angry.
Explanaition: "The other side" is another dimention where the souls od supernatural beings (vampire, werewolf, witch etc.) rest after they die and it's falling apart wich allowes the dead beings to mess with the living and enzo did exactly that He tried to drown a girl named elena but they were wondering why he didn't just straight up killed her and tried such an inconvinient way (she's a vampire wich makes it impossible for her to die by drowning) These ppl were being hunted by group called "travelers" that wanted to sacrefice 2 of them I think and enzos plan (the guy that was messing woth them) was to give the "travelers" their location via magic (that's why there were candels and stuff)
Oh for people looking for what did enzo do.... Well it was luke he was missing.... And at that time he was doing a spell so that travellers couldn't find them

It surprises me how smart Damon is, there were times when I was watching this where I didn't even know answer to the problem and Damon always figured it out

Luke, a witch, was protecting them with magic so that the travellers couldn't find them and get Stefan and Elena. But Enzo knocked him out or something so the travellers could find them, I'm pretty sure. I haven't watched it in a while.
Enzo with his humanity off was just needy and petty. Once he his humanity was back I felt he was way more tolerable and wished Stephan gave him more of a chance.
The comment section is on fire.😂 damon has always been the smart one out of the entire lot. He always had his reasons for doing what he did and yes we can agree or disagree with those reasons but it doesnt change the fact that he had them and generally they were good ones like survival. He was willing to do what needs to be done coz others were hesitant. People including stefan have villianized him for that at times just coz he owned his actions and who he is instead of putting humanity as some type of standard he needs to achieve. He was impulsive at times only when elena was concerned. Here, he knows enzo but he also is pretty smart. Not saying he is a victim or unnecessarily blamed. He deserved it many times but not all the time.

They all try to figure out why Enzo would try to drown Elena since something like that wouldn't work and they realize that this was just a distraction. They rush outside to find Luke but Luke is gone and that means he no longer protects them with the cloaking spell and the travelers can find them. I looked that up from the episode summary.
They had a witch (Luke) outside on the porch doing a cloaking spell to hide them from a group called the travelers. Enzo incapacitated Luke leaving them unprotected and easy to locate
I don’t hate Damon I like him (I’m just saying that cause it seems like the people in the comments dislike him but idk) but yeah I would say that Damon is smart not dumb
I don't remember very well but I do remember Enzo died because of Stefan and Stefan loves Caroline so that's probably why I don't know this I haven't watched very kind diaries in a long time so that's probably why so sorry if I got it wrong 😅
