Hi, Sir/Madam! Thank you very much for your great support to Eonon. Your sweet praise make the Eonon team thrilled and encouraged : ) Nothing makes us happier than hearing this from our customer!
Hi, great video. You gave me very useful information. Can I ask you this. Do you know if you can pair this unit with Tyre Pressure Monitor sensors other than Eonon's TS01 module which I can find on their website any more. This would be the next big thing if you could connect aftermarket sensors with this unit. As for Eonon Support feel free to throw some light on the subject at any time. :) Thanks again for your videos. I'm looking forward to see if you find anything else bothersome with this unit.
Daniel Clement So the dashcam is simple USB, wire into the back of the unit. I thought the reverse cam would be the same but nope, it has a wire that splits into two, one is an RCA for the video feed and the other is a surprisingly thin bit of wire to connect to your 12v to give the camera power. So in my case I reused the 12v from the cig lighter where the sub is wired.
mupet00000 Thanks for the quick reply, sounds easy enough. May I ask where you mounted the rear camera itself? Did you route the cabling straight down the middle? Also, I noticed your fairly local, I'm only in Sandy, small world!
Do you actually have subs connected and working?? I just installed mine today and my subs wouldn't work. I have the RCA cables connected to the inputs on the back of the unit and the blue remote wire connected to the SW 1 wire on the harness that came in the box. Did you do anything different?
Yes I have a sub connected and fully working. Literally just needed to wire up the sub for power as you would in any car, and then I just used one RCA cable from the sub to the back of the unit, as it's just for bass I didn't bother with Left&Right channels, I just did one. Haven't used any other cable or remote wire that you mention, just got power from my cigarette lighter and rca to the back of the unit.
Well yeah but my sub has the amp built in. Pulled out the plastics of the car to reveal behind the cig lighter, split the cable to reveal the 12v wire, spliced the sub power wire with it, sealed it back together.
Oh okay yeah mine doesn't, maybe I just have the wire connected wrong. When you say you just have the one rca cable connected, do you mean you just have it connected to the two sub inputs on the back of the unit and thats it?
