While it looks pretty and all and is certainly well done, it's just a "eh, I've been grinding that shit 250 times" feeling to me. Guess I can feel nostalgic about it when revisiting this video in 15 years from now.
Bravo. When did all these onion ninjas show up *sniff* I regret that I have to have my camera zoomed way out in order to play properly as I miss all these great detail in the fights. Thanks for sharing.
Goodbye Heavensward, You invited us with open arms, gave us both hope and despair but in the end it was time well spent. Though the war of 1000 years is finally behind us we now continue on. I give one final salute to those who fell in battle with us, who have grown close to our hearts. Ysale, Hauchefant, you will be missed. But now it is time to take up arms once again as we head eastward! With fire and blood we storm for our brothers in Ala Mhigo and forge new bonds in Othard. May the crystal be your light forward! Onwards into Stormblood!
I've been waiting for you to make a heavensward video. It's so extraordinary, very beautiful. I'm glad I got to play this game and I got to see how it grew from the ground up. You deserve a like! -Ryuskei Kyruem, Hyperion
hey, thanks dude!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I just wish I had more time to make them. Gotta work to play the game if you know what I'm sayin. :) cheers!
I didn't realize I had a stupid smile on my face until the end of the video xD sometimes we're so engrossed in the fight we forget how beautiful the game is. great vid!
Oh man, some good memories! Basically I used a controller, slowed the analog stick movement down, toggled my character to walk. Sometimes I would park up against a wall or ledge in order to get a slower movement. Like, walk diagonally into a wall, or back up into one. Basically no 3rd party tools needed. :)
@@LyconaDaCheeChee thanks for detailed answer, nice to read from you =)! By the way, how did you slow stick movemebt, just by sloping it with low angle, or with software tuning?
@@westerntune all in game, no external software, and yeah, I suppose by sloping it?. Tho not exactly sure what that means. Pretty much whatever you can do to slow movement. Which is up against a wall, and like walk into it at an angle, that was how you got some cooler slower stuff. All with a PS4 controller at the time.
Could say all the praise possible being a deep fan of all your Eorzea videos, most of all "Brave", but will say it in the most basic yet best way. When I want to hype someone new to the FF14 series I always bring up your videos first. Trailer quality with a powerful theme. Good job!
I'll be honest, you could've left the people standing there at the end before the text stuff rolled, and just showed a creepy pan toward potentially upcoming content (or palace of the dead) and fade to black with that. Just feels like someone is trying to show off there.
That build up to Sephirot's punch into the platform, and then the grass growing under the feet of the party just made this entire video for me. Holy shit, that ending. Holy that everything. This was so well made. I'm saving this and watching this on a bad day because this video literally gives me so much strength, aaaah!!
each of these masterpieces you make, i share with my FC, it is truly worth sharing. this is truly an epic worthy of Final Fantasy, and every adventurer should be inspired by this masterful art
thank you for this.. it looks incredible. i cant even begin to imagine what settings you're using to get the game to look like that. also really appreciate that the video features longer cuts than Eorzea is Beautiful.. and really gives us the time to admire the scenery.
I'm thinking he/she used one of the elevators in Aetherical Research Facility at least... Not sure about the others but there might be something similar :o
That was exactly it. Since the elevator's moved down, I reversed the footage in post so that it would move up. The vault, it was just in first person mode, you can still see a little bit of the ground if you look close enough :)
