Ubayy b. Ka'b reported: I was in the mosque when a man entered and prayed and recited (the Qur'in) in a style to which I objected. Then another man entered (the mosque) and recited in a style different from that of his companion. When we had finished the prayer, we all went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said to him: This man recited in a style to which I objected, and the other entered and recited in a style different from that of his companion. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked them to recite and so they recited, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) expressed approval of their affairs (their modes of recitation). and there occurred In my mind a sort of denial which did not occur even during the Days of Ignorance. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw how I was affected (by a wrong idea), he struck my chest, whereupon I broke into sweating and felt as though I were looking at Allah with fear. He (the Holy Prophet) said to me: Ubayy. a message was sent to me to recite the Qur'an in one dialect, and I replied: Make (things) easy for my people. It was conveyed to me for the second time that it should be recited in two dialects. I again replied to him: Make affairs easy for my people. It was again conveyed to me for the third time to recite in seven dialects And (I was further told): You have got a seeking for every reply that I sent you, which you should seek from Me. I said: O Allah! forgive my people, forgive my people, and I have deferred the third one for the day on which the entire creation will turn to me, including even Ibrahim (peace be upon him) (for intercession). اسلام و علیکم حافظ زبیر صاحب آپ کی گفتگو بہت جذباتی ہو جاتی ہے عاصم مغل صاحب کے سوال کا مختصر واضح جواب دینے کے بعد دلائل دیا کریں تا کہ کوئی غلط فہمی پیدا نہ ہو ورنہ یہ تاثر جاتا ھے کہ گویا آپ کے نزدیک قرآن نہ فرقان ہے نہ میزان ھے نہ حکم ہے جبکہ میرے خیال میں آپ یقینا قرآن کو میزان اور فیصلہ کن کتاب مانتے ہیں قرات کا اختلاف صحابہ سے چلا آرہا ہے پوری امت باقی قرات کو قرآن ہی مانتی ہے درست بات ہے سوال صرف یہ ھے کہ قرآن ایک قرات میں نازل ہوا ہے یا سات قرات میں؟
the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Abbaas who narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Jibreel taught me one style and I reviewed it until he taught me more, and I kept asking him for more and he gave me more until finally there were seven styles.” (narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3047; Muslim, 819)
Qira’aat translates to “readings.” The Qira’aat are different “mixes” of the 7 Ahruf. The Qira’aat were entire copies of the Qur’an written down on various objects, such as parchment, palm leaves, wood, bones, and so on. All the Qira’aat were from the Sahaba themselves originally, which was their own “mix” of the 7 Ahruf they learned from the Prophet (saw). As the years passed, the names of the Qira'aat changed in reference to the most prominent person behind that Qira'a.

سبع احرف سے امت نے صرف دو چیزیں مراد لی ہیں، تیسری کوئی نہیں. یہ پروگرام دیکھنے والے اور کومنٹس پڑھنے، لکھنے والے شاید اس موضوع سے لاعلم ہوں تو انہیں اتنی قطعیت کے ساتھ یہ بات کہی جا سکتی ہے. ورنہ اس حدیث پر اتنی آراء ہیں کہ کبھی سلجھتی ہی نہیں.
ڈاکٹر صاحب پچھلے پروگرام میں قرآن کی ایک بات کو مختلف پیرائے میں بیان کی جانے والی دلیل تو بیان کر گئے. لیکن اس پروگرام میں اس پر سوال ہی نہیں سن رہے. ☺️ ڈاکٹر صاحب ایسے تو نہیں کرتے.

عاصم مغل صاحب کی ایک بڑی ہی عجیب سٹریٹجی ہے جہاں پر دلیل میں پھنس جائیں وہاں پر کہتے ہیں کہ یہ میری سمجھ کے مطابق ہے اور جہاں پر اپنا مقدمہ پیش کرنا ہو وہاں پر کہتے ہیں کہ یہ غامدی صاحب یا فراہی مکتب فکر کا پوائنٹ ہے پتہ نہیں کیوں ان کے لئے ایک سادہ سی بات سمجھنی اتنی مشکل ہورہی ہے کہ قرآن کے الفاظ کو اگر آپ دلیل کے طور پر پیش کرتے ہیں تو خدارا اس الفاظ کے معنی اور مفہوم اپنی عقل سے نہ پہنچائیں بلکہ یہ دیکھیں کہ ماضی میں سلف اس سے کیا مراد لے رہے ہیں حافظ زبیر صاحب اپنا مقدمہ ایک پورے کانٹیکٹس میں پیش کرتے ہیں لیکن جب بات عاصم صاحب ریفریز (rephrase) کرتے ہیں تو سارا کانٹیکٹ ایک طرف رکھ کر پھر وہی اپنی عقل یا مکتب فراہی نے اسے یہ سمجھا ہے کہہ ہر پوری بات کی نفی کر دیتے ہیں اور پھر کہتے ہیں کہ جو کہہ رہا ہوں آپ کو سمجھ نہیں رہے

That's not true. The other guy's level of understanding is very superficial in order to grasp the intellectual depth and technicality of the subject matter. Moreover, it seems like continues interruption and raising insignificant points from the other guy irritate and annoy dr. Hafiz Zubair sb.
