Absolutely brilliant podcast especially references to "being awake"👍 I am now one of those post menopausal metabolically healthy women, but WAS at least 45 to 50 lb overweight. I ate all the right food, did all the right exercise, and lifestyle changes. With that said, Semaglutide got me off of a 6-year plateau and I am now within 2 lbs of my goal. Thank you, thank you, thank you for these podcasts in your belief in this particular therapy 🙏🏻

Loved, “why don’t you use your brain for yourself” After getting prescribed ozembic, I waited 2 weeks to start it, while researching everything from journal articles to RU-vid. Decided it was safe and have been very pleased that I no longer graze/snack through the day/night. I had been in a 5 pound plateau on Noom and started losing again. I’m 72, retired social worker, I do 2 Pilates sessions a week, 90 min of line dancing class. And 60 min of pretty strenuous hula. Happy camper.

I am receiving help from Nurse Practitioner at Sutter. She is prescribing peptide to help reverse NAFLD and high cholesterol. I have 10-15 #s extra but not primary concern. Insurance (Medicare and Anthem) cover visits but I pay for compounded microdose Terzepatide. Hysterectomy in 1995 flipped the switch on cravings for alcohol. In recovery for 20 years, but like many alcoholics and drug addicts, cake was a big draw at meetings and between meetings. I switched seats on Titanic. Carrot cake instead of scotch. Peptides and HRT are game changers. No longer white knuckling cravings for anything. And I've been a jogger since 1974. That didn't keep cravings away after my Hysterectomy. Thank God for the Nurse Practitioner and her open mind. And thank God for Dr. Tyna Moore. My NP follows you and is a big fan of your channel.

Dr Tyna, Thankyou so very much for sharing this information. My endocrinologist NEVER said I need to lift weights 5xweek, and eat high protein good quality meals. My doctor gave me the usual “eat less move more”. When I told him last year I’m losing the muscle in my thigh, I’m dehydrated all the time even though I’m drinking water. Thankyou so much Dr Tyna, I can see where I went wrong and also what I just did not do. Now I know how to correctly do this. I am diabetic so I need to be on these meds. I really appreciate this! Regarding dose manipulation, if one counts the number of “clicks” to achieve the pre-programmed dose on those pens, one can do the math and only administer a prescribed dose based upon a mathematically determined number of “clicks”

I love that you consider all aspects and individuality of health because we are not all the same and we all need an individual approach to good health! I don't think people mind seeing others win, they just don't want it to be easy. Especially if they've done hard work to accomplish the same thing. Most people believe everything in life should be constant hard work and battles. Same reason why people hate student loan forgiveness.

I am so happy you're on YT! I listened to your podcast on Spotify when going to bed at night & in the car. Now I can relax on the couch & watch you. My endo & nutritionist never mentioned weight training, after hearing you I've started working into the world of weights. I'm surprised how easily people get Ozempic. Good grief! My dr sent me to an endo. My triglycerides were a little high so I had to get those down and blood work redone in 8 weeks. Tests were done on SO many pancreatic "function" to ensure I am type 2 (for 20 years they thought I was type 1!) After good numbers I was sent to a nutritionist. She decided on Ozempic. So all in all it took me 6 months to get it prescribed. Idk if this is how it goes but it blows my mind people can fill out a questionnaire online and BOOM it comes in the mail. Unfortunately I've had a partial foot amputation after going septic on an infected wound of my foot and over time, fought it with 3 PICC lines. I have severe, painful neuropathy diagnosed by an emg (I think that's the name). I'm on narcs. I wish I was put on Ozempic yearrrrs years ago. I've seriously gone from 400's to rarely over 200. MAYBE it would have helped and prevented the nerve damage, being septic, amputations. I'm 5'1 and 200 lbs. So yes, I am hoping for major weight loss & strength with the weights, but my goal is smashing this diabetes. I literally had a serious fear of death for so long. My children go from age 28 to 6 & a husband. I cant die from this. I want to stay here with them. Anyways, Im SO sorry I told you my boring history! I'm SO happy I came across your podcast and seeing you on RU-vid. I fear that I'll be taken off RU-vid! I hope I count as qualified. I have such amazing results. I have a nutritionist and doing the weight training and starting cardio this week. I'm trying it all!

I just started SMG yesterday. Iam hopeful that I have good results. Not one bit of nausea. I went through a life-changing incident which lead me to overeating, Isolation and more. I'm 62 years old and have never obese before! I gained 60 pounds in just two years. My bones had never held weight like that before. Luckily i am pre - diabetic negative. But damage has been done to my back and knees . My balance is dangerously out of whack. I have horrible pain when trying to walk . I must get this weight off or i feel that I may die. I am so happy that I have found Dr. Tynas channel. Thank you Doctor. I need to get a nutrition plan going as I'm not a big meat eater. I will get use to it again 👍 . I have never been a regular exersiser person. Being a Nurse I was very active. I now have my grandchildren and I want to be active for them. My body ached so bad when I got out of bed this morning !!!!! 😔 I do not like being a complainer at all. Luckily I live alone but my sweet Cat is getting tired of hearing me groan . I'm going to set up some sort of mellow strength training but I don't know what kind yet . I can't afford the name brand Ozempic so I'm thankful for the generic SMP ! Have a good day.

I am hearing you talk very positive about Mounjaro & other GLP -1 and related meds... Which is great! I have been on Mounjaro since August 2023. I have lost 47 pounds, altogether, but some before starting MJ. I have heard & have experienced the lack of Food Noise, the aches & pains in my body, the happy elated feeling during the week & even a desire to go find a cheeseburger, before going for cookies, cake & other sweets! Because I had been watching & changing things health wise before I started, is why I believe I did not experience extreme side effects when I started. So I believe you when you say that starting in group 3... The hot mess, is not good with MJ or the other meds. I feel that my change from 9.8 A1C before MJ, to 6.0 after MJ... Shows that my body needed the peptides!! My blood pressure is high, my cholesterol & triglycerides are high, readings are improving & I applaud whoever brought this to me!! A question though, What are Resistance exercises, and how much do I need to do to stop my body from losing muscle?

Using custom tiny doses is more difficult with brand name pens, but not impossible. You can choose the number of clicks, it still injects even if you didn’t rotate it all the way for the full dose. For example, Ozempic pen of 0.5 mg per 37 clicks - just choose 7 clicks and you’ll get about 0.095 mg. I initially started on 0.25 mg and increased to 0.5 mg (37 clicks) but then went down to 0.46 mg (32 clicks) and I’m now on 0.36 mg (27 clicks). I’m aiming for the lowest efficient dose, whichever it turns out to be. I think you would classify me as a group 2 patient. Thanks for your videos!

My endocrinologist suggested if for me, im a sugar addict, and am really struggling to eliminate sugar again. The shortages concern me, i think its a designed shortage but im suspicious. Question: how do you microdose if the pen is prefilled? Why arent the pens equiped with a dial so you can adjust the dose up and down, like Enbril?

Im type 2 diabetic. They gave me Ozempic the other year but had to stop it as they ran out of stock here in the Uk. I've now managed to get Mounjaro. From what I'm understanding in regards to Mounjaro and its benefits I think the best thing I can do for myself in terms of biohhacking and making ny body work better and dealing with my type 2 diabetes i need to use Mounjaro TRT 125mg-200mg per week. HGH -4iu daily. And maybe throw in some Deca/Npp to help stave off muscle loss with weight training and a protein filled diet. Which is basically what I'm doing now minus the HGH and Mounjaro. Hgh will be the key to healing the body with Mounjaro.

I'm on .25 ... 3 weeks now. My body is definitely feeling the semaglutide injections. Switching to tablets I think. I need a lot of help with everything. Brain injury, hormones, metabolic issues and I have finally decided to try it. You definitely are very motivating.

My primary won’t treat me for diabetes other than diet, period. My A1c is 6.5. BMI is over 35. (206 pounds). I have HTN, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, etc. I’m going to endocrinologist in two weeks.. Going to ask questions. I got a cardiac stent at 51 years old. Thank you for putting this information out. I needed to feel excited, because I feel fear about side effects. Oh, btw, I’m on 18 medications. Out of control. I’m 54 now. I need to be treated in some way. I need to get rid of some meds too. Losing weight would help. I also already go to gym 4-5x a week s/p 4th spine surgery.

I went to a nutritionist and she has many eating a bit different from before but nothing major. I go to the gym 4 to 6 days a weeks, I also go running/jogging 4 days a week. Not true, my primary doctor is the one who put me on Ozempic and my insurance is covering it. My PP is wonderful and checks in with me often, I also go to see her often. Not everyone can afford a health coach. My PP is perfectly capable of guiding me, as well as others. Just my opinion.

Ok I have lost 78lbs in a year on semaglutide 1.7. I have been eating high protein low carb and fasting but also eating whatever I wanted from time to time. Now my blood sugar is dropping and I have dropped my 20units to 12units and I'm going to add in some carbs in around 10:00. Can you tell me what's happening or what I need to do?

All I can find for sale is a blue 1 mg maintenance pen. I am just beginning and want to microdose for heart benefits. Am I correct it has four 1 mg doses? I would love to just do 16 doses at . 25 unless it just shows no effects. I would buy an additional 12 needles to be safe. However this would go well over the fifty three days till I’m supposed to discard. What are your recommendations to make this work. All of my uncles have had Parkinson’s by 70. I am fifty eight so anyway to try and mitigate this I’m game. Also four back surgeries major sciatica. Any help appreciated. In Mexico and want to buy from a recommended pharmacy in town.

I'm a bit confused why you don't talk enough about diet when it comes to reversing autoimmune conditions. Carnivore - eg zero plant matter - diets have been shown to put conditions like T2D, RA, UC & Crohn's into remission. Really enjoying your content on this matter though, totally changed my thinking on GLP-RAs!

Wonderful that it helps with arthritis. Why can you not refer specifically to dosing? Is that illegal? I’m wondering because you speak about this as a main belief in your beliefs on GPL1 agonists. I’d appreciate knowing what you believe is the correct micro dose especially if you’ve hit your goal weight and would not be opposed to maintaining this and appreciate other health benefits of taking this peptide but don’t want to stay on therapeutic doses advices.

I understand that you do not diagnose or treat patients without an extensive interview. But I was just wondering, is that something that can be done safely? JC
