True man.....I am staying and working in Mumbai from last 12 years...but hadn't explored such places within Konkan. Goa is only considered as konkan destination to explore...Harishji has changed the way we were thinking of travel and exploration.

that homestay lady was so sweet . she was a great host to harish bhai and team . she made sure the guest enjoyed his food , served with lots of love and honor and shared so much knowledge about the malwani cuisine . the place was also amazing with greenery and sound of sea waves.
One more amazing episode...what a scenic beauty and authentic kokani malavani home cooked food !! To be very Frank , you met with a right person Prasad for your remaining part of Kokan tour. This "raan manus" Prasad is well know , dedicated, hardworking and most knowledgeable person for offbeat kokan, Sindhudurg destinations. It's clearly a fruit of all the great efforts, resources and the teamwork invested , which are not to be taken for granted. Unlike many others whose main goal is to reach a certain amount of views, subscribers, in order to only enjoy the finacial benefits, you, dear sir, are doing it for pleasure and to genuinely pass on the passion for travel and indirectly encourage both the service providers and the tourists. Luckily I'm an old time backpacker, and along the time have turned into a class traveller and can easily recognize and relate to that joyous fire in your eyes. Coastal of maharashtra resembles to Goa in terms of sea shore ...As Harish ji showed each place ,district had its own glory and differentiation characteristics... One more thing Goa is vibrant and u will enjoy in different mood Kokan is calm and serene....One thing for sure and it is especially for people outside maharashtra people in lokan are so nice and good ....Any time of the day/night u will not get hurt by these localities....They are like god people.... If u want enjoy coastal tour with family then lokan is THE place....

absolutely stunning beautiful done shots जिंदगी मे इतना बांगडा फिश आपने कभी खाया नाही होगा यह सिर्फ मुंबई और कोकण मेही fresh मिलता है पातोळी एक traditionally sweet है ६०० साल पहले सब लोग गरीब थे कोकण मे आपने देखा होगा की सबके घर मे गाय म्हैस नही होती इसलिए मावा की मिठाईया जादा नही मिलती कोकण मे चावल और नारियल है इसलिए यह Home made sweet है
That " Laal mart " we called " Kosala Saag " in Odisha. Basically we prepared it with Coconut without any Onion Garlic & Masala. Few dishes of Konkan almost same like eastern Odisha.
